What an afternoon! They all played well and were that much better that Gateshead. It was never really in doubt until they started playing defensively at the end but even then it wasn't really in doubt.

I wonder what will; happen in the summer months. TK has said that this promotion is worth £1.2 million . I hope he uses some of this money to keep the players and manager together although we will need some strnegthening here and there.

A lot of that money is funding for our academy which we had to disband. When you think Mauro, Johnson and Gambin came through it plus the ones who didn't quite make it like Lowe, Sykes and Allen, it was pretty fruitful having an academy.

We don't have a massive squad but I think everyone else got one. Cook was there despite not being named on the bench and the backroom staff got one too. I think there was a rule that you had to play 10 times to get a medal? Anyone confirm this?

That's in the Premier League - not sure the conference are organised enough to enforce that on the day! I thought you got 25 medals to distribute as you wished. The coach driver got one!

In european competitions and the World Cup you get a medal for being in the squad irrespective of game time - I've seen a few third choice keepers celebrating like they'd made the winning save over the years!

Judging by his tweets i don't think he did. I don't know the ins and outs of what is going with KMB but from the outside he definitely looks like he's being punished a lot more severely than a few misguided tweets should be. The club is on lockdown with any info on it as the players I'm friendly with won't talk about it. The whole thing appears to be quite complex.

On the face of it, seeing as we had 25 meals anyway, we should have given KMB one, if only because not giving him one does look so very pointed. But we don't know what's really been going on and I doubt that we ever will.

Clearly though things have long since reached the point of no return. KMB should just cut his losses and move on, anywhere, in an attempt to rescue his career and salvage his reputation.

It was a long time ago so I cannot find it, but the 25 medals comes from a series of tweets I had with the Conference.

They said the 25 medals include staff and can be divided how the club sees fit (i.e. no minimum games) BUT the club can purchase more if they want.

If so (and I can't be bothered to go through my history!) - then KMB Should get a medal.

However, I disagree with what's been said above - I think that Cowler, the bus driver and the Jayde Cook should all get medals, and above him as that's the close knit spirit that Allen pursued - they were involved more than KMB and attended more games. But I do think KMB should get a medal. Along with David Hunt, and that loanee who scored a couple. Why the hell not?

I doubt KMB is in Benidorm though.

If the physio, bus driver and Cowler, none of who kicked a ball in anger, got medals then so should KMB.

If there is a discipline problem then yes there is a time for a stick, but there is also a time for a carrot as well. You produce the goods and win a trophy then you should be rewarded for it. Otherwise what message are you sending?

I think KMB should get a medal, if we can purchase more, but I think Cowler, the bus driver (does someone remember his name?), Jayde Cook, Omar and the other member of backroom staff had a more positive input to our season, so deserve their medals first.

I'm not sure what KMB's response would have been if he had been given one of the medals. Walking out to get it and then walking straight off the pitch with it? Grimsby away suggested he had no respect for the rest of the squad, so it would have been pretty awkward having him come out onto the pitch amongst the celebrations.
