U18s Update

Post: # 111171Post buzzinbee »

After the winning start to the new year, seems that the U18s just like the First Team aren't enjoying the month of March. Started with a seven goal feast home lost against Northampton Town, the U18s were leading 3-2 until the Cobblers scored two in the last few minutes of the match to make it 4-3, then Peterborough United did the double over us with a away 2nil lost & at Leyton Orient Centre of Excellence in Woodford Green, an unfortunate brace by O's youth team on Saturday made it three loses on the bounce & help them (8th) go above us (9th) on goal difference.

Match report & line-ups: http://www.leytonorient.com/news/articl ... 27070.aspx

Up next for the U18s on the Hive training pitches this Saturday at 11:00 is Portsmouth who are having a bit of a dodgy month themselves (1 draw 2 loses).

Not that I can find Jimmy, both games were away so our media fella (Tom) wouldn't of been at either. Gills didn't ever report the defeat, they usually only do a report when they win :spite: & the Cobblers never do clips of their U18s matches.

Are you still doing the fixtures/results on your site?

A hat-trick from Matt Stevens gave the U18s their second win of the season against the Daggers but they did just hold on in the last twenty minutes after ex-Bee Micah Hyde's side scored two.
