Ben Strevens leaves Eastleigh..mutual consent
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Or ‘sacked’, as they used to call it! He’s paid a heavy price for a poor run of form. Seems to have done a decent job there overall.chesbee wrote:Ben Strevens leaves Eastleigh..mutual consent

From outside that appears extraordinary harsh. Now that Eastleigh are no longer bankrolled by Stuart Donald, they’re probably at their ceiling of what they can achieve.chesbee wrote:Ben Strevens leaves Eastleigh..mutual consent

Very strange.
Someone else mentioned on another thread the continuity Boreham Wood have had with Garrard. Eastleigh would surely have benefitted from giving Strevens some time, now the money has gone!

Looks like ex-Bee and Finnish International Robert Taylor is leaving newly relegated SK Brann to join Inter Miami in the US.

Sounds like a tough decision but it had to be taken!TorME wrote:Looks like ex-Bee and Finnish International Robert Taylor is leaving newly relegated SK Brann to join Inter Miami in the US.

He can go wherever he wants. He was the one that sent us down from the Norwegian "The Premier League"
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Abit unfair comment, as his legs were dead after 120 minutes, as he was hardly able to kick the ball in the shoot-out!Pingorock wrote:He can go wherever he wants. He was the one that sent us down from the Norwegian "The Premier League"

The other 19 players managed just fine to put the ball in the net.......TorME wrote:Abit unfair comment, as his legs were dead after 120 minutes, as he was hardly able to kick the ball in the shoot-out!Pingorock wrote:He can go wherever he wants. You obviously haven't been to Bergen. Way nicer than Miami.dawat wrote:Sounds like a tough decision but it had to be taken!TorME wrote:Looks like ex-Bee and Finnish International Robert Taylor is leaving newly relegated SK Brann to join Inter Miami in the US.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I felt really sorry for him, as he actually asked to not have to take a penalty, as he felt his legs were gone, but as the shoot-out went so far, so that he had to take one. Imagine what that feels like. I've both missed, scored, and saved the final penalty in a shoot-out, and there is no better and no worse feeling.Pingorock wrote:The other 19 players managed just fine to put the ball in the net.......TorME wrote:Abit unfair comment, as his legs were dead after 120 minutes, as he was hardly able to kick the ball in the shoot-out!Pingorock wrote:He can go wherever he wants.
