UK Premier - the Final Week (probably)

So, the deadline approaches, and short of what at this point seems an improbable deal with IPC Media, this will be the last-ever week of Classic Playforyourclub. Also the last week for the foreseeable future for the Barnet PFYC team, given that we no longer compete in the England version, having been relegated from League Two in May.

It has been quite the run over the last almost 7 years. Struggles in the early years to establish a strong team; then a titanic effort to win a first UK title one well-organized week back in April 2009. Arguments in Europe, but a Euro final appearance eventually achieved in late 2011. Through it all, billions and billions of points scored, and a very strong team forged that I think has done our small club proud.

I want to take this opportunity to thank current team members, and also to thank anyone and everyone who has ever played for our team. That week back in April 2009 was a high-point, with almost sixty Netbees adding points, large and small. Of course there could only be one first win, and that was it.

For those still playing, enjoy the week. For others, thanks for the memories. Please add a few points for old time's sake this week, if you can.
