True. But even with that track it was much closer to the pitch. I’ve watched England for the new lowest tier and you are well back from the action. I think it was even better to watch from the Gods!

Re: Gateshead away
The gradient of the first tier at the new Wembley is shockingly bad. Feels like you're in a pit.
Definitely second or top tier for full pitch views however as it's the FA Trophy, it'll most likely be just the bottom tier open due to the (lack of) demand. Even if we bring 10,000 fans, which is dubious, the first tier would cover it from the sides next to dug outs and media section all the way around to the other side.

Don't forget non league finals day includes the FA Vase final so the ground is usually split 4 ways with plenty of neutral fans attending too. I didn't go last season but the 2 years prior to covid I sat in the neutral section a block away from the royal box in club Wembley for about £20.thefootballtrimmings wrote: ↑15 Mar 2023, 09:59 The gradient of the first tier at the new Wembley is shockingly bad. Good point! 2 for 1 then on matches? Do they normally allocate one part of the ground to one fanbase?jerroll wrote: ↑15 Mar 2023, 10:02Don't forget non league finals day includes the FA Vase final so the ground is usually split 4 ways with plenty of neutral fans attending too. they split it into quarters then have neutral sections as well.thefootballtrimmings wrote: ↑15 Mar 2023, 10:08Good point! 2 for 1 then on matches? Re: Gateshead away
From this season they have created safe standing areas to accommodate up to 1,000 people behind each of the goals. Is it safe to assume these will be allocated to supporters of the FA trophy final ?
Re: Gateshead away
There were adults who received banning orders recently after their children ran onto the pitch at the end of a match. I'd not let my 12 year old put me at such risk.john dockers shorts wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023, 09:59My 12year old is so excited about prospect of going to Wembley. To be fair he's excited about Wealdstone away...
He has confirmed he will be going on the pitch when we win. He doesn't know yet that he has to walk a mile to reach it!
Re: Gateshead away
Season ticket holders should be allocated there imo. Regardless of club, I presume when the allocation opens for season ticket holders, do we all go into the same block?DerekRocholl wrote: ↑15 Mar 2023, 11:19 From this season they have created safe standing areas to accommodate up to 1,000 people behind each of the goals. Re: Gateshead away
Now four days after the FA Trophy win and still no highlights from us, but on youtube there is very good coverage of just over 12 mins. Don't no what our media team are doing. Reaching the semi final and no highlights.
Re: Gateshead away
I actually disagree - I despise the upper tier at Wembley, went to 4 Euros games including the final & we were bang in the 1/2 way line 17 rows up in the upper tier for the Scotland game (goes up to about 35 rows) & couldn’t see a thing.thefootballtrimmings wrote:The gradient of the first tier at the new Wembley is shockingly bad. Much prefer lower/club level personally.
Anyway - would everyone shut up about Wembley, we’d have plenty of time to discuss if it we get through.
Re: Gateshead away
Agree, getting ahead of ourselves here, need to respect Gateshead
Re: Gateshead away
Gateshead are massive favourites in my mind.
How many times have we been 1 game from Wembley (or Wembley replacement) in the last 20 years? 6 playoffs and a jpt semi?
How many times have we been to Wembley in that time?
Gateshead massive favourites.

Re: Gateshead away
I hate to break it to you MCB but if it's 6 play-offs you're thinking of plenty of play-off games that were more than 20 years ago...
Also not sure the allure of the Britannia Stadium was quite the same in 2003-04.
