Hopefully unscathed and fit for the ding-dong game this weekend!

RDH is surely destined for the EFL. His contract must be up for renewal soon. Hope Mr Brennan can persuade him to stay with us for another year or two.

Another player that we'd all put down in our starting XI without blinking (any dissenters?) And another player that hasn't got the credit that's due to him. And DB who could have farmed him out to NLS before the season kicked out without blinking.

Most improved player? Young player of the year? Player of the year? Next player to be sold to a league club?

All of the above could relate to him.

Mem and Iain on Beespod reckon he won’t be with us next season. He’s definitely destined for bigger clubs.

Yep they seemed to think he was the only player very unlikely to be persuaded to stay (of the ones we’d want to keep)

If he doesn’t renew his contract with us does that mean we wont be able to get a transfer fee for him?
He must be worth six figures, surely!

If that is the case let's enjoy him while he is here and hopefully he leaves with two trophies bagged for Barnet.

Transfermarkt (admittedly not always accurate when it comes to this level of football) suggests that his current deal expires in June 2023. But I'd be amazed if we didn't have at least a one-year option built into the contract. That would mean we'd get a fee, but that it's imperative we sell him this summer (assuming a new deal can't be agreed, of course).

Funny how quickly peoples opinions change on players. It was only a few months ago fans were on his back and saying he's anonymous in games etc. I believe hes improving but hes not actually ready for league 1/League 2 football just yet and a another full season playing regularly rather than in and out of a league team would be more benficial.

Who knows, he might even be in the league with the might bees!

I do agree but premier league players have done it for years and then played for there club few days later, so even thou a international game should bare the same priorities, but as said imagine langstaff getting injured and they missed out on automatic promotion, I totally agree the timing of this game is scandalous, should be at end of season, sitting hear with fingers crossed hoping RDH comes out of game unscathed.

From what I was told a couple of months ago, he isn’t on a big contract and the club offered him a much better deal. However a deal hasn’t been agreed.

In the meantime his stock has risen quite considerably and we know of at least two league clubs with a strong interest.

But when does his current contract run out? Is there a one year option?
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!
