Because it was agreed by us. Yes Eastleigh may well have requested it but it takes two to agree a fixture move.

I hope it does go ahead and if not it is called off early enough to not further inconvenience our away support.

Ironically, Wednesday morning is now forecast a lot colder at -4 compared to tomorrow morning at 0.

Will they be able to thaw it out before the 2pm pitch inspection?

Not forecast (Met Office) to be below 1 degree from now until kick off tomorrow in Eastleigh . No frost on the ground round me today for the first time. Looking like the right decision hopefully

A few of us are going now it's been re-arranged. I suspect no more than 50 bees turn up considering the difficult circumstances but it's another new ground to tick off!

The forecast for Eastleigh tomorrow at 8pm is 6C, so this looks good to go.

The MetOffice website got the Yeovil forecast wrong and looks like they have again tonight. It's already -2 in Eastleigh at 5.30pm and expected to go lower. If the ref decides at 2pm tomorrow I think the ground will still be frozen but give it another few hours and who knows?

Hope it goes ahead, need a football fix.

Yup. Met office now changed. Not looking good. Weymouth (relatively near to Eastleigh) passed inspection today at 3pm and the proceeded to call the game off at 7pm. Not ideal in any shape or form

The Eastleigh pitch is under covers and they have heat lamps available to help thaw it out.

The big difference tomorrow is that it's not forecast to be below freezing during the game, so if the pitch is playable in the afternoon, the game should go ahead.

Not idea how much difference the covers and heat lamps will make though.
