Bees v Wrexham April 15th
Notably, Wrexham have already sold 1100 tickets for the game. Blocks A,B and C all sold. Shame for them really, as after our 27th win in a row they’ll be travelling down to our title winning party
Nice little advance earner for TK. Additional striker please……

They are probably going to sell out their entire allocation by the end of this week for a game not being played until April! Will they then start buying tickets in the home end? Will they also be given that blocks F and G of the West Stand?
If we are still in with a shout of the play offs could be looking at a guaranteed sell out.

Re: Bees v Wrexham April 15th
Compare Wrexham’s 1100 to Chesterfield (end of January) 6 away tickets so far and Notts County (Feb) 4 away tickets so far.
Re: Bees v Wrexham April 15th
If Notts County are still top they'll fill the away end.
The fixtures have worked out well for TK, 2 Saturday away sell outs. Chesterfield should bring a few as well
New striker incoming?
Or new rail strike incoming?

Their site has a 4 page thread re this match. As someone on there said, "as at 10.30 this morning 1133 have gone. This is amazing for a non league club, and a fixture more than 200 miles away not to be played for another 15 weeks."

I guess they enjoyed watching our exciting style of play in the 7-5 defeat earlier this season!
Re: Bees v Wrexham April 15th
Surely they should be given blocks F and G, in the interests both of the safety and comfort of home fans by keeping away fans segregated as far as possible, and also of maximising revenue. If we end up with a few hundred Wrexham fans interspersed all over the Legends Stand that will make for a very uncomfortable and possibly unsafe afternoon. We ought to give them as many seats as possible to meet their demand as far as possible, and to maximise income for the club.Mikel Bee wrote: ↑28 Dec 2022, 11:55 They are probably going to sell out their entire allocation by the end of this week for a game not being played until April! Obviously we wouldn’t want to deny any Barnet fan who wants to be there the chance to attend. But even with only Legends A-E available to home fans, combined with a fully open East Stand that still provides a home capacity of c. 2,500, which is surely more than enough. I can’t imagine we’ve had a home attendance anywhere close to that since the relegation match on the last day vs Chesterfield in 2018, have we?
Re: Bees v Wrexham April 15th
Not in the league, Brentford FA Cup obviously.
It seems risky to assume at this stage we couldn't get 2500 home fans given we had c2300 yesterday. If we're in the mix for the play-offs in mid April against a high-profile team I could see us clearing 2500. 3000 is probably the line to draw, can't remember us doing that for a league match that wasn't a win to guarantee something (titles, survival, play-offs, etc).

Fair point re yesterday, albeit the paying punters probably numbered more like 2,000 seeing as the family area in the East Stand was all freebies (I think).djhdjh wrote: ↑28 Dec 2022, 15:19 Not in the league, Brentford FA Cup obviously.

It’s a difficult one, because any Barnet fan who couldn’t get a ticket would rightfully be mightily annoyed, and they are the fans we need to be keeping happy and maintaining a relationship with. And it’s our ground - the last thing we want is to be locking out our own fans in favour of visitors! But if the Wrexham sales carry on like this we will need to do something sooner rather than later to avoid the home areas filling up anyway, with away fans.
Perhaps phone sales only for home areas, handled by a speech expert tasked with weeding out anyone masking a north Wales accent!
Re: Bees v Wrexham April 15th
Just restrict sales of home tickets to people with a previous history of buying.
We could allocate Bumbles family zone to them as it has a separate access turnstile but it would be a pain to police.
Also it seems like the rows A-C haven't been sold yet in stand 66, which is a couple of hundred seats

I hope the entrance from canons park end is open by then.
Re: Bees v Wrexham April 15th
Will get nowhere near the number of Massive Brizzle Rovers, even if they fill the away end...

It could be a sell out for a dead rubber.

I remember Cambridge being allocated seats in block F & G in Legends, before stand 66 was built, which wasnt a great success.
I very much doubt the club would allow this to happen again.
