Wealdstone (Hive) The Match Thread Facing Its Portaloo
So,,,,,,, Saturday sees the bees in an early kick off as we take on the 85% ers in our latest Bananarama league fixture.
After our cup run ended with a creditable loss we find ourselves with just the league and the trophy to focus on yet again while the Dog and Duck will be taking on Accrington Stanley in the new year.
And what a league fixture to return to. Last year a bunch of coked up neanderthals from west of Harrow tore up the toilets, abused stadium staff and even stooped so low as to abuse our mascot which is deseperately sad. Be angry at TK by all means, be angry at your developers for going bust but putting your own fans safety at risk and that of employees is a fairly despicable act. If I was Barnet I would stick them in the top corner of legends and give them a few portaloos as they have shown they can't be trusted.
While I feel like a fool to cry about the trolling stones, I can't get no satisfaction until we have managed to put one over on that nasty bunch. While I am not the biggest detractors of TK it is hard not have sympathy for the devil when his staff are the ones being attacked for his ruthless acquisition of PEPF. I have missed a few games but wild horses could not keep me away from this one.
On the pitch Wealdstone have pulled themselves out of a poor start to the season getting 10 points from 15 in their last 5 games and sit just below the Bees.
With Brennan's squad beset by injuries and lacking in cover for Nicke it has been a miracle for us to achieve what we have so far this season and it will be interesting to see how he approaches this game. Wealdstone are known for a fairly agricultural approach to their football and there must surely be a temptation to retain the 3 at the back as per Accrington Stanley.

You don't need to be on Twitter to read it. Just search Barnet FC Twitter. The offer is mentioned there.

On a serious matter, I do hope that the club will increase to level of security given what happened last time.
