To confirm: The coach will leave the Barnet at 8am and leave The Hive at 8:30
You make me happy, when skies are grey...

We live in Stanmore and It makes sense as you can get on the M1 easier from The Hive. I don’t accept this argument that hardly anyone gets on at The Hive. The fanbase is spread all over the place and a substantial minority prefer the Hive. Indeed for the Sheffield game MORE went from The Hive on the coach. The anti Hive sentiment on this forum isn’t representative of the fanbase as a whole in my opinion and is really depressing

Good post Sir.Northampton Bee wrote: ↑23 Nov 2022, 23:07 I like to praise the SA for all the hard work they have done over this. It was very short notice, due to the replay , but 2 coaches were arranged very quickly. From what I read there was a lot of people saying they would be going, but now cant.... If we had lost against Chelmsford we would be away to Notts County, so there would still been travelling involved if people had put that day aside... after the draw was made i know id be going to either Accrington or Notts.... This has the potential of being one of our biggest games this season, but I get the feeling that there is apathy over the distance, opposition , shirt notice....There is a lot of comment over coaches leaving the Hive , love it or hate it, that is now our home. Having attended a lot of work events at Bolton Wanderers stadium , thats nearly 6 miles from the town centre.... but im sure coaches leave from there for their away games.. its what happens when teams move.... anyway, fair play for adding an Odeon pick up....maybe next time travellers could all give their addresses and be picked up from their front door. Having said this , I wont be using the coach, as Im 60 miles up the M1 from Barnet, so will be driving myself, but I really would like to see it a success and maybe encourage a new wave of suporters to travel to away games
we have been at the Hive long enough now to get over this, as mentioned on this thread, there are loads of clubs where the ground is out of the town. Such as Bolton 6 miles from town. Will be interested to see how many supporters are being picked up from the Odeon. The one thing I hope is this lack of interest does not put either the supporters association of the club to run coach/ coaches for future games, I am surprised it's been mentioned the distance to this game. From Barnet it's 221 miles and takes just under 4-5 hrs. So with 30 min stop on way your looking at five hours. Remember James on tube heading to join Percy bus and he was on the tube at aroundeastbarnetsupporter wrote: ↑24 Nov 2022, 11:26Lord Bee wrote: ↑24 Nov 2022, 09:57We live in Stanmore and It makes sense as you can get on the M1 easier from The Hive. What's truly depressing is being called Barnet FC (from Barnet) and playing our home games 5/6 miles away in Harrow. The 3 buses it takes me to get there remind me of this every home game.
So now reduced to one coach, and this is not full. Not having digs at anyone but just feel so sorry to supporters association who organised this, really hope the person who paid deposit out of his own pocket has not lost any money, if so I would contribute to stop this happening.
moortownbee wrote: ↑24 Nov 2022, 14:39 It's been a positive morning and the coach is now nearly full.
Just proves that if you run a coach from where most people live and have easier access, it will succeed.
To those who kindly donated to cover costs and to those travelling I thank you.
Thank you so much to all at the Association for making this happen, it is really appreciated by many. Hope the experience doesn't put you off and the next time (FA Cup third round!) is smoother for you all. Looking forward to the trip - Thanks again!WillesdenBee wrote: ↑23 Nov 2022, 21:56 As stated above, we are now stopping at Barnet Odeon at around 8:30 (TBC). I am 100% sure the club will use this a litmus test for any future coach endeavours. This has been like a full time job over the last week or so for us in the Assocation, it really is disappointing. The coach will 99% run thanks to the donations, but it really is demoralising to see our effort to include as many people as possible go to waste.
