Deserves his own thread for what was a really classy performance. I wasn’t all that surprised because he was looking good in pre-season too.

He’s good on the ball, pretty quick, reads the game really well, stays on his feet rather than diving in.

But what I like the most is that he always tries to be positive in his passing and looks to move the ball forward rather than taking the easy option and going back to Walker.

And he’s not afraid to get physical if he needs to. I liked that little shoving match with the Halifax no.9.

Looks a really shrewd signing and complements Diarra nicely.

Completely agree. Excellent performance and in my opinion the standout one of a great team display. He was run a close second by Shields who was also excellent. Been mentioned on the matchday thread that Halifax were poor. I think that is doing us a disservice. Totally dominant for large parts of the game and never really looked like conceding.
