Think it is still likely but haven't heard anything new.DSM wrote:WillesdenBee wrote: ↑27 Jun 2022, 18:15From what I am aware of, Pritchard seems to play in a similar role to what Kretchzmar would play if he signed. Could be telling... Not sure if you know whether that is still close or not?
Beebot you still confident on Kretchzmar or think Pritchard may be an alternative?

Kretzschmar, another striker and a left back and I’d be happy with that.

Re: Signings so far
do we assume we will be playing with one up front? We are certainly short on options up front with just one striker through the door.

Expecting two more attacking players to be confirmed in next few days. Think we will have to wait for that 2nd out and out striker though

Has anyone been down the hive today or yesterday and seen any new faces?

I wasn't but been told that Jamar Loza and Sean Shields are training with us along with many others. 36 players in training yesterday according to VillageSpodothebee wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 13:41 Has anyone been down the hive today or yesterday and seen any new faces?
Re: Signings so far
Sean Shields might be okay, not too keen on Loza!

Miserable
Re: Signings so far
I expect TK to get his hands in his pockets and get this club to where it belongs which is the top end of this table. If hes not willing to do that then he needs to foxtrot oscar.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 15:12The budget is lower mid-table so not sure what you expectBeesting wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 15:10How lower mid table can it getWillesdenBee wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 13:55I wasn't but been told that Jamar Loza and Sean Shields are training with us along with many others. 36 players in training yesterday according to VillageSpodothebee wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 13:41 Has anyone been down the hive today or yesterday and seen any new faces?
No other clubs support would bend over and accept what this chairman has done over the past five years or so.
Re: Signings so far
The only reason to sign Jamar Loza would be to bloody well stop him scoring against us. Since November 2020 he’s scored 4 in 4 games against us, and 3 in 43 against everyone else!

Looking at the squad we have now, I think we need a bit more than that — though it obviously depends on who leaves the club over the coming weeks.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 09:51AgreedSpodothebee wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 09:35 Kretzschmar, another striker and a left back and I’d be happy with that.
I feel like we need a better right-back than Thomas if we are to progress next season, for example, but agree about cover at left-back.
And if we're going to be playing a 4-3-3 then the wide areas could do with at least one more addition, as well as a central striker.
If we are able to shift some of the players who I suspect aren't at the forefront of DB's plans — perhaps Turley, Fonguck, Powell and Walsh — then that might free up some more money. There's also probably quite a good chance that EMC will leave.
My guess would be that we'll get a couple more in, then further signings could depend on departures.
