Can we reach the magic 1,000?

Touch and go at the moment. Great to see some familiar names from the original Underhill days still trickling in. With reluctance to single out individuals, there are a few names from the original Back 2 Barnet campaign that I do not recall seeing yet. Hope they come through for us.
I believe said individuals are abstaining while TK is in charge.
That's pretty stupid if so, because a stadium back in Barnet will outlast the tenure of any owner, and this might be the only opportunity to secure that.

It is nice to see some old Underhill names. Messages from the relatives of those sadly no longer with us are touching, nice that Chris East's mum still goes to matches, shows what football means. Also a few from our newer Harrow fans, that must take guts and shows they can see the importance for the long term future and are signed up for that if it happens.

The number of residents referring to potential for litter and drunken behaviour etc saddens me that they think like that. We are such a family club, never any trouble. There's even someone worried about fans urinating in their garden which staggers belief someone would think like that. I guess they haven't seen all the benefits the various groups across the club offer the local community and have done for charities.

You're right. We're angels.

Hi everyone,

We're making great progress. Just one week to go to break the 1000 barrier.

For those struggling with the portal, we've made an explainer here. Please keep pushing, if anyone has any issues at all - just let us know!

Thank you again to everyone who has done a positive comment!

If Mr Harry Gluck (or someone who knows him) is on here, it looks like he's accidentally submitted an objection rather than a comment in support! Presumably there's a way this can be rectified, though I'm not sure what it is.

Well done to all in the campaign team for this - you've done a magnificent job!

BTW - I see that that Save Barnet Playing Fields petition has around 18,000 signatures on it. Bearing this in mind, its a bit strange how they could not muster anywhere like that number in the comments on the planning application and far less than us. Hmmmmm!

Probably reached out to a community of eco-warriors who have nationwide exposure. No way 18,000 local people would have signed that.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Are those petitions not part of formal consideration for local planning process and are worthless?
