Eastleigh (Away) The Away Fans Still Matter Match Thread
Re: Eastleigh (Away) The Away Fans Still Matter Match Thread
Moved to Jan 31st.
Re: Eastleigh (Away) The Away Fans Still Matter Match Thread
Sensible move given fixture congestion, could a grim run of 6 away games in a row but hopefully it defines our season in a positive way.
Re: Eastleigh (Away) The Away Fans Still Matter Match Thread
Is anyone driving to the game from the Bounds Green area?
Re: Eastleigh (Away) The Away Fans Still Matter Match Thread
6 successive away matches followed by 3 home matches in 8 days. Crazy!

If club had any sense then we could have put Yeovil in that day.
Joke we wss only told late afternoon.. not like some of us need to arrange leaving work early.

We couldn't because Yeovil had already rearranged their match v Wealdstone for next Tuesday.letchbee94 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2023, 17:46 If club had any sense then we could have put Yeovil in that day.

Wealdstone v Yeovil was postponed 24th January.
We had whole week to arrange the game for the 31st before wealdstone v Yeovil original game was called off.

Was thinking the same thing, six away games running, long journey in such a short space of time.
A- Eastleigh 31st Jan
A- Scunthorpe 3rd Feb
A- Halifax 7th Feb
A- Torquay 11th Feb ( trophy )
A- Notts county 14th Feb
A- Torquay 18th Feb ( league )
Wow that is some ask.

Can't ever remember us having to play 6 away games on the bounce?
Hopefully we can keep this run going and get some reward from enough of those fixtures.
For any of our fans attempting to get to all of these away games over the coming weeks, I salute you in advance!

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

I doubt we really wanted to play on Tuesday given the short turn around to Friday, no choice with the weather further postponing both Woking and Eastleigh, needs must, we're a mile behind already through no fault of our own or anyone else's.letchbee94 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2023, 18:52Our game with them postponed on 17th January.becbee wrote: ↑27 Jan 2023, 18:14We couldn't because Yeovil had already rearranged their match v Wealdstone for next Tuesday.letchbee94 wrote: ↑27 Jan 2023, 17:46 If club had any sense then we could have put Yeovil in that day.

No new match thread for this one under the circumstances.
It will be interesting to see how Brennan marshals his troops for this one. I would imagine that there will be some rotation where it can be managed.

Do we just buy tickets on the door?
Re: Eastleigh (Away) The Away Fans Still Matter Match Thread
I just don't understand clubs not permitting entry on the door, when I checked Chesterfield's sold tickets on Friday they had sold virtually all of block A, by 12 seats, and block B was not even a third ful. They must of sold at least a few hundred on the door, why would any club turn these kind of numbers away is beyond me, just had we are not one of these moronic clubs.
