I would gladly volunteer. Get to stand and watch footy for free, what's not to love?

I thought this? As mentioned on previous threads supporters have often volunteered to help out, however the offers have never really been taken up.Northampton Bee wrote: ↑01 Nov 2022, 11:00 DB is saying he wants Ball Boys ( or Ball People to be PC ) behind the goal to stop time wasting .... As a special view is being offered you would probably have to pay a premium and buy a club tracksuit and undertake an expensive training course and pay for your own water!

Then I retract my offer. I remember being paid £4 as a kid to be a ballboy in the East Terrace for an Arsenal reserves game. Accounting for inflation, £20 should do this time around.

Would be happy with that and wouldn’t even want a refund on my season ticket.Northampton Bee wrote: ↑01 Nov 2022, 11:00 DB is saying he wants Ball Boys ( or Ball People to be PC ) behind the goal to stop time wasting .... You must be younger than me...I got paid a pound a game and a programme if there were any left over at the end. It wasn't great pay, but we had the best view in Underhill of some of the great Barry Fry teams. In some ways my career has been all downhill since!

I remember doing it a few times around 2003-2005. Never even touched a ball!
Re: Ball Boys - A solution
I have offered the club to cover the cost of 4 ball boys for 8 home games I await a formal response
Hopefully they take me up on the offer and I can do my bit

Wynter had to go up into the stand to get a ball in the second half. It's embarassing.

Agree it's totally embarrassing, but surprised referees have not mentioned this in there report, keepers having to climb over fence to retrieve ball from old terrace, now players having to climb into stand. Amazed the league have not raised this with the club. At min put up netting behind goal in old terrace end.
