Yeah, Smith was tidy and Okimo looks very dependable, but I thought the major motivation behind signing them was for coaching and to almost create another leadership team rather than play week in week out.WillesdenBee wrote: ↑19 Aug 2022, 15:18Not sure. Smith came on and looked sharp the other night.11bee717 wrote: ↑19 Aug 2022, 15:16Is tbh is to ensure Smith/Okimo don’t have to play as big of a part on the playing side?WillesdenBee wrote: ↑19 Aug 2022, 15:14 Loza and Diarra both fit. Flanagan in training, Powell back next week. Woods soon back as well. Our squad is starting to look rather large! Even larger if we sign the trialists (Reiss Greenidge and others) that DB mentions in his interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Gage55tQFI&t=159s

Bit of a ricochet in off the post from EMC cross
Re: Woking (Hive) The Top of The Deck Match Thread
Collinge such a strong and calming presence at the back with Walker a great signing.
Look a threat going forward and finally have a team where each midfielder lookslike they have a goal in them. Pleased EMC got an assist, but missed others that looked easier.
Only player off pace today is Pritchard. Passing has been wayward and broken
How is the Woking number 12 getting away holding Kabamba right in front of the lineo at every set piece.
This squad looks to have depth - with Loza, Flanagan, Woods on the margins.
Definitely need back up striker and centre half. Marriott not in Bromley squad again

Don't know if it's the positioning of BBC radio Surrey but sounds as if Woking supporters outnumber bees fans, as Woking supporters coming over radio.

Given train strikes/holidays/COVID/ cost of living right direction build it and they will come as they say but given last few seasons will take time
