Interesting article about Premier League season ticket prices on the Athletic:

Obviously it's worth saying that Premier League clubs are much less reliant on ticket sales, because of their epic TV deal.

Nonetheless, there are five top flight teams where their STs are the same or cheaper than Barnet, and another six that are within around £100.

It's hard to see why any new supporters would favour going down to Barnet over West Ham, Fulham, Brentford or Crystal Palace at those prices.

North London is by some stretch the most expensive part of the country to watch full time, professional football.

Yes, but just try to get a season ticket at any of those clubs. Long waits, maybe years. Even to get a ticket for one game you have to be a member of a scheme or know somebody. Comparing the NL with the PL on almost anything is not worthwhile.

Have read on quite a few national league clubs forums about the cost of our season tickets.
Many find it funny and believe it will end badly for us as a club, others have said if we don't have a good season will could end up in financial problems, funny how other clubs can see charging £400 in the national league is mind blowing stupid. Apart from TK obviously. As mentioned its cheaper to watch FiVE premier league clubs than Barnet, hopefully the supporters association can make him see sense, even half will be one of the dearest in the league. Please TK unless you are looking at killing Barnet as a football club and you want around 500 die hard supporters you need to get a average of what other mid table teams are charging and adjust tickets accordingly.

Surely they must go on sale soon, the club must need some form of income besides the pitch hire and events that go on.

Of course there is the opposite view. Clubs that charge peanuts don't have as much money as those who charge a bit more. Maybe it's those clubs that end up in financial trouble, especially if their benefactor runs our of money or goes away. I'm not justifying the current season ticket prices btw, just giving an alternate point of view. If we'd have reached the play offs last season and were clearly pushing towards promotion, would there be the same outcry over the cost of season tickets? I would hope our season tickets ARE more expensive than Wealdstone and Boringwood, but that doesn't mean they can't be good value for money, encourage loyalty and encourage new season ticket holders. We need a better balance and excepting the top 6 big clubs, our budget is competitive. We're still awaiting a response from the club.

I'm not saying you're wrong here, but where is the evidence that our budget is 'competitive'? My understanding was that it is marginally less than last year — a season when (I believe) Brennan suggested we're in the bottom third of the division budget-wise, in at least one post-match interview.

As everything is going up in price rapidly maybe the longer it takes the less likely it is that the deals will improve.

Please fill it in asap, it might make a difference
Is it too early to ask for the results of the questionnaire?
Sorry Hoppy, missed that. Can feedback in a day or two, but I believe it might have led to some recommendations to the Chairman based on the members feedback :D

Having started this thread, I have to also praise the club for listening to fans and putting a great offer package together.
