I fear it going to be long long process to get fans back every game at the Hive. I think it got to stage where tk could offer to pick people up and take them back home and they would still not come.

Will be even worse when Sadiqstic extends the so called 'emission' zone to the M25, making it more expensive
with my lovely old reliable diesel ! Won't be enough electric to go around anyway !

I have a diesel too, but clean enough not to have to pay ULEZ.

Yes thanks Hoofer, am aware of restrictions on older diesels, mine's 2005 and know i've probably got to make a decision on
getting cleaner, but the Mayor is not helping things the way the world is at the moment.
Don't want to have another financial reason to stop me hopefully enjoying the club i grew up with.
Costs enough coming down from Norfolk as it is.

Most actually don't, well not when talking to me! They all know what each other's budget are or well in the vicinity of if not quite exact.

Just for balance, it should be noted that DB referred to a 'brilliant' bonus scheme for the players next season at the End of Season awards, which I believe may account for a slightly smaller basic budget but with much more opportunity for players to earn more. Sounds good to me, might stop some of the 'coasting' of players. If we do well, then the budget could be more than last season.

Indeed he did Mark, a great incentive I think and something different, but evidently rewarded for actually getting results which is what we all want to see

If the 10 game ticket get's the go ahead then I'd definitely go for one of those, I can't commit to a full season and also liking to get around to other clubs and managers it would fit perfectly for me

The Mayor and for that matter, most London boroughs are trying to get rid of pollution that kills people in London. He is doing what he should be doing by discouraging people from driving into London with vehicle that spew out noxious gas. If you are travelling in from Norfolk come by train, it is quicker, more comfortable and outside of rush hour a darn sight cheaper.

Difficult to tell without knowing the detail but at this level I suspect a reduced basic with a jam tomorrow bonus scheme is likely to increase the barrier to good players being interested in signing up in the first place. Bank managers and landlords aren’t that interested in doing deals with people based on their earnings power IF they have a good season.

Yes, but plenty of people work in jobs where there's a basic wage then incentive payments, bonuses, regular overtime etc which make up their income. They manage to get mortgages etc. Isn't it a case of providing your last 3 payslips?

Yes, but for a bonus payment to be considered there has to be a track record of achieving bonuses on a regular basis. Difficult to see how anyone playing for BFC would provide evidence that would convince a mortgage provider that an end of season performance bonus was a foregone conclusion !

We're still in discussions with the club about potential changes/offers for season tickets so I doubt anything will happen until that is resolved.

Caveat; I know very very little on this subject. But!!! I’d imagine footballers (especially lower league ones) have to go through specialist mortgage providers as their career is so short. The bank wouldn’t hand out a run of the mill 35 year mortgage to a 34 year old lower league footballer regardless of bonus’s or payslips.

Yep I know a season ticket holder who mentioned this to me a few weeks ago when I confirmed to him ours are £400. And they’ve just nicked our top scorer
