He was, albeit overshadowed by Michael Hector who IIRC arrived on loan at the same time.

I remember that they were both young, both signed just for a month, that the loan was then extended to January then to the end of the season. They were virtual ever presents then Hector won Young Player of the Season.

Loudmouth's favourite Ryan Watson has signed up with the Neville's Project at Salford on an 18 month contract.

Got a haircut at the same time.

Themis Kefalas had his contract at QPR terminated by mutual consent. I assume he has a new club lined-up

Matt Preston has gone on loan to Kidderminster Harriers from Solihull. Has he actually played for them at all this season?

Mark Marshall played as a substitute for Crawley Town at home to Tranmere yesterday.

He was their best player and used the ball very well, setting up a couple of half chances. A lot of fans said "who?" when he came on but I heard someone make a reference to his long ban. Shame he was sacked as we would have got a fee for him - I think.

Must be getting on a bit. I'll Google him for his career path.

We had little choice but to sack him as his ban didn't end until long after his contract was due to expire.

Pretty sure he had declined all contract offers and was running his deal down to leave at the end of that season and we wouldn't have got compo as he was 25 in May 2012!

Yes it was a question of marshaling our resources once it became clear he had crossed a line.
