That sums him up entirely.

To pick up a yellow card for cheating shows how bad his attitude is. Well done, Currie on signing an absolute bell end. He's shit and stealing a living off the chairman. There's so many good strikers in this league and we sign an absolute tool, who is taking the piss out of the club.
Lovely overreaction, I look forward to your 'let hopes he can kick on now' when he scorers on Tuesday.
I hope you're right and he starts banging in the goals. Unfortunately I think there's more chance of Boris Johnson winning Strictly Come Dancing.

What a complete waste of an afternoon.
My point didn't really have anything to do with his quality. In 4 sentences you noted his bad attitude, called him a bell end & a tool who is stealing a living and taking the piss out the club.

I don't think he forced us to sign him.
I don't really see how he is taking the piss out of the club.

How good was Sweeney today, first game of the season and easily the best player on the pitch. Vilhete and Harry Taylor also did well.So let's concentrate on the positives for once.

Slow build up play unfortunately today , a lot of passing backwards and sideways but in fairness to Pavey, the service was poor and he was feeding off scraps . Agree with some of the posters alot of ridiculous over reaction, a few chill pills need to be taken me thinks.
Both Sweeney and Mauro were the stand out players today both look fit and strong and they certainly don’t look like they have had a long lay off.

Boring, slow and no cutting edge! Pavey is making Shaun batt and Byron Harrison look average. No words! Making a sub till 5 minutes to go Currie has no plan b! Only positive was Sweeney.

There were fans on here who suggested that we'd missed out on Paul McCallum. He was poor today.

Credit must go to the management for not rushing those 2 back despite the other problems we have had.

First 25 was rubbish and we gradually got into the match.
Solihull are a big strong side and they are no mugs.

People wetting their pants over Paveys performance. The guy was given scraps all game and then has to deal with some big centre half all over him. I thought he offered some decent link up play at times and did okay.

The Taylor brothers were immense today and Sweeny and Santos had their hands full with macallum and Wright.

Reynolds flapped around as usual at a snails pace with everything he did.

Irony today that Che told Sweeney to go further forward... Something he never does.

I didn't think Simeon did enough today same as Wes.

Mauro really offered some pace but in fits and starts.

Great to have Sweeny back brilliant performance a few stray passes but his physical presence and running with the ball was great.

I actually think that was a 6.5 performance today against a strong side

Bizarrely if we win our game in hand we’ll be up to 5th and 6 points off of Bromley who we play soon. This division is poor with no team really showing they will run away with it. We kept a clean sheet today, and have players returning so it’s not all doom and gloom.

It's not, but our attacking play has shown little sign of improvement since last season. I'd have thought we'd be moving the ball into the final third faster now but if anything we seem to be getting worse in that respect.

Fylde away and Bromley home will be very tough games. Bromley's forward line is better than ours in all respects.

Few weeks ago somebody mentioned that as we had improved the regular moaners had not posted. But see there back. Today was vast improvement from Ebbsfleet game. And there was passages of nice football. Yes way off from best. But if we had scored and won the game don't think the negativity would be as bad. Not going to help anyone improve after three games calling them shit ( Alfie Pavey ) I said on Tuesday he was poor. But surely he needs time before such statements are said about him. I don't know what sort of pre season he has had. Massive plus having Dan Sweeney back. And seems no effects after playing whole game.

Absolutely disgraceful comment.
It wasn't easy to see from a distance at the match itself but if you have bothered to watch the replay on BT Sport, you will have seen that there was no intention to cheat and that it was a harsh yellow card.

Poor performance! Why can’t people moan, there is aspects that are moan worthy.

I thought Alfie Pavey tried his best and not fair to compare him to Lazy Byron. Poor sod doesn’t have the physique to play as a lone striker. His shirt was pulled so much the number 9 was coming off. Then he got thumped in the unmentionables right in front of the Lino who did nothing. No wonder he was limping and was subbed. Blimey you’re hard task masters bearing in mind we’re in a tin pot league and you can play count the crowd. Disallowed goal was scrappy but at least he’d got himself in the right place to get the ball in the net.
