Notts County (Away) The Black and White Town Match Thread
Re: Notts County (Away) The Black and White Town Match Threa
It was announced at 11:55 on Twitter…
Couldn’t they have done the testing first thing in the morning and announced it earlier to save the fans sitting on trains to no where…

Rescheduled for 8/2 - probably be snowed off this time!

Just the one Tuesday that I can't make. Not impressed but equally, not surprised given the lack of available dates.jerroll wrote:Rescheduled for 8/2 - probably be snowed off this time!

I can do it but its a bit of an inconvenient date plus it gives 3 away games in 8 days and 5 in a pay month!becbee wrote:Just the one Tuesday that I can't make. Wow. Tuesday/Saturday games for 4 weeks. With our injuries, small squad and no strikers (at present) how will we get through that without dropping into the relegation zone?
Re: Notts County (Away) The Black and White Town Match Threa
Hopefully we'll have some strikers by then.
As for dropping into the relegation zone, regardless of our results it would still take a huge improvement from Weymouth or Kings Lynn for that to happen. No harm in hoping that they keep losing though!

Late postponement so will not be doing a new thread.
Going to be a tough fixture but after Aldershot win there goes the fear of relegation. I almost forgot myself at Aldershot when we went three up but as Brennan said I doubt we will cedar room we had up at Notts.
At the moment this league feels like a constantly moving carousel with a game every 3 days but fingers crossed we will put in a good performance ahead of facing the 85 percenters.
Despite limping off Maz reportedly has only a dead leg so hope he makes it. Presuming Bloomers is out and EMC also it feels more important than ever that we target Ken Wirrets or his long lost brother especially with Tasdemir looking lazy and disinterested.

Uninterested, not disinterested. They mean totally different things!Bee_Forever wrote:Late postponement so will not be doing a new thread.

Notts County don’t seem to be as well put together as the other ex-League behemoths. Persisting with the 3–5-2 could frustrate them and give us opportunities on the counter.
Re: Notts County (Away) The Black and White Town Match Threa
Our referee against the Magpies is Matthew Dicicco. The last time he showed a red card was nearly three years ago when he sent off Shaq Coulthirst in our 2 1 defeat away to Gateshead.

Yes Shaq was a walking red card that day. Real basement jaxx performance from him.hoppy wrote:Our referee against the Magpies is Matthew Dicicco. The last time he showed a red card was nearly three years ago when he sent off Shaq Coulthirst in our 2 1 defeat away to Gateshead.
I thought we played 3-4-3 on Saturday unless Hall was playing deeper than he looked to me.

BBC says game is postponed. Clearly a cock up.

Nothing on either club’s Twitter feed.ETBee wrote:BBC says game is postponed. Clearly a cock up.

What the bell has happened. Marriott. Thomas or Greenidge not even in the squad let alone starting. ? And knowing this we let our only other striker leave. I would not be best pleased if travelled to Notts to find this.

No one has told the people doing the coverage on bbc
