So.…. Saturday sees the bees take to the field against the baby spuds. After a similar fixture against the Arsenal youngsters a couple of years back drew a reasonable crowd the hope must be for something similar against a young spurs team who many Barnet supporters may count as their second team.
With Nuno taking over from Mourinho it is fair to say that the last few months have been somewhat disruptive for spurs and with their Talisman striker making blue moon eyes at Manchester City the difficulty continues. Spurs youngsters will be glad to see the back of the grumpy one as he famously trusts young players as far as our goalkeeper could throw them.
Spurs have also been in the news after SHOUTSPORT failed to call out one of their many offensive callers for rampant antisemitism, suggesting that Daniel Levy's faith had something to do with his approach to financial matters. Such views have no place in civilised society and I hope with time they will be gone. Demanding the best price for your players is not about being jewish, it is called being a good chairman. Our own chairman is the living embodiment of this having got some great deals for the club over the years despite being weak in other areas.
On to the match and it is to be hoped that we will have at least one if not two keeper's on the books by Saturday. Despite the fact we tend to learn very little by playing against U23 sides this is about building up fitness so I hope Kewell will go as strong as he is able.
------------------------------------A. Keeper----------------------------------------
-------------Turley---------------Greenidge------------Widdowson---------------

I am missing this one due to cricket. Hoping we get another useful 90 minutes under our belts and do not pick up any more injuries.

Messi leaving Barca.
If he's looking for a new challenge I encourage TK to get the cheque book out sharpish before someone else beats us to it.
P.S Good Luck to Harry Kane with Messi in the marketplace.

If Nuno makes Kane train with the kids as punishment for going AWOL, he could play against us this Sat..
That would get a full house in.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
