Altrincham (away) The Alty Small Things Match Thread

Post: # 317650Post Bee_Forever »

So.... Saturday sees the Bees hit the road as we head to the suburbs of Manchester for another Bananarama League fixture.

With the weather improving it will be nice to see the Bees in the Sunshiiiiine of Manchester. We have only got a small squad but at this stage we've got to roll with it and enjoy the fact it is half the world away from the team at the start of the season.

Alty sit 5 places and 23 points (!) Ahead of the Bees so this will be another tough fixture. It is to be hoped that we will have some reinforcements back on Saturday to bolster our attacking options and that Harry can stay out of the referees book for long enough to see Wordsworth return as cover.

My team

-----------------------------Azaze------------------------------------

--Vaughan------Daly---------Preston-----Beard---------

--McQueen--Skeffington--Taylor--Kefalas--EMC-

---------------------------Hooper------------------------------------

Subs - Callan, Baker-Richardson, Richards-Everton, Adeloye, Petrasso

Finger crossed we can carry on our unbeaten run. Little by little it feels like we are seeing Bassey's masterplan.

Punters are backing the Bees today.
Alty are odds on with all bookies but the odds are drifting.
Odds for a Bees win vary between 3/1 and 15/4 but ALL BOOKIES SHOW BEES ODDS STRENTHENING, so get on quick.
Good odds on the draw around 14/5.

As I say, I have Bees win both teams to score 8-1.

at least we have 70 minutes to try and get back into it.
As Bassey said though with this fixture congestion he'd eventually have to turn to the rest of the squad, maybe hes tried his luck with the same 9 players for one too many games and they need rests now.

True. However, I don't think fatigue played a factor in those two goals inside 16 mins.

I hope Bassey makes changes at half time. We don't look like scoring. We look like conceding every time the ball goes in our box.
