You don't need to be "on Twitter" to read it, just type "Barnet FC twitter " into search.
It's always worth checking as things often get posted on there ahead of the Official Site.

Only Barnet's Twitter has a list that includes the club, all players on twitter and a couple of BFC related accounts.

You should be able to see most recent tweets just by clicking here : https://twitter.com/i/lists/81409310?s=09

And if on twitter you can follow the list too

Still no news, the longer the wait is the more I think that we are looking at pretty steep prices.

I think it is more the uncertainty about how things are going with matches in pre-season already being cancelled left, right and centre.

There's still a month before the season starts. Don't panic.

Edit - forgot formatting is not simple!

Can't see us having massive surges in ticket prices - we've just had our worst season in 35 odd seasons, and many people won't be able to or will be uncomfortable attending. Would be beyond absurd, but stranger things have happened.

Just thought i'd look at previous prices - let me know if this isn't correct. I know some of you cancelled memberships and then restarted but for ease of comparison just took Monthly Charge x 12 months. Also I'm not sure of which seasons except 2018/19 also charged a one month membership fee. Anyway? This is just rough back of fag packet calculations based on whatever landing page BarnetFC.Com was found on google.

..............................20/21......19/20..............18/19....................... 17/18...............16/17.............. 15/16
Legends Early Bird.......£199
Legends Normal..........£299.........£384 (£32 PCM)..£404 (£32 PCM + £20)....£432 (£36 pcm)...£420 (£35 pcm)...£312 - £348 (£26-£29)

Terrace Early Bird
Terrace Normal............N/A........£264 (£22 PCM)..£190 (£15 PCM + £19).....£324 (£27 pcm)...£324 (£27 pcm)...£264 (£22 pcm)

It will be interesting if the club contacts previous season ticket holders pre covid to see if they want to renew their allocated seats. I think I know the answer.

We were told that we'd get our orginal seats back once restrictions were lifted and I can't see any reason why the club would go back on that.

Last season's prices were drastically reduced because it was clear that there were huge doubts re whether / to what extent we'd be allowed to attend. In the event we only got 4 home matches and it was pure luck that we got the 4th ( Maidenhead was a rearranged fixture that we'd have missed out on otherwise).

IMO the prices should go back to a "normal" level, with the provoso that if the season is materially disrupted, that at the end of the season the club reviews the position.

When/if the club do announce details I just hope that if you wish to do so that you can pay for season ticket in 1 big hit. I know some prefer the monthly payments and each to there own.

The reason would be a concern that restrictions will be reintroduced, which is not inconceivable. I’m not saying we shouldn’t offer people their old seats, just that we wouldn’t be the only ones not to do so if we didn’t. See Colchester United, for example, whose Chairman said this in a statement the other day:

“I am expecting further restrictions of some kind to be introduced at some time this season which is why I have kept all of the system we have in place to deal with such measures if and when they do come in to force.

We can cope with full lockdown or full freedom and the only cost to those of you that attend games whilst we have full freedom is you don’t get to choose your actual seat and you may, although we expect it to be quite rare, get moved from time to time.

I’m aware that the choice to not only select a specific seat, but also to select the seat you have always sat in, is important to many of you but it is a choice we just can’t provide if we have to operate at any time with social distancing measures in place.”

Well, I hope we do get our orginal seats back. The ones we had last season for the 4 home matches that we were able to attend were fine as a temporary measure but I do want my old seat back. And surely we should be working on the basis that we will be able to attend this season. We've been told that we have to learn to live with Covid, the thought of any further streamed matches is too depressing to contemplate. To say nothing of the financial implications for clubs.
