Wordsworth better not walk down any dark streets then!

Do you think the coach will drop him off in Whitchurch Lane and make him walk alone along the dark path to the carpark! Scary stuff.

I think he'll get some one to one training sessions with Tim Flowers

The club won't pay his fine it'll come out of his wages plus he won't get offered a new deal next year not that he would have got one anyway I'd imagine.

Loved SB post match interview. Tells you as it is. When a player does something stupid ie Wordsworth he says it on record. And liked the part were he said the 10 players got him out of jail so to speak. Bit concerned he thinks we just sit and have barbecues indoors and out and just drink beer lol. As if.

I think he just meant that’s four out of only six games remaining that he’ll miss, and beyond that it can mean losing his place in the team when he’s back, losing the trust of his teammates whom he’s let down, and potentially losing the chance to get a new contract here or elsewhere. I’m speculating on the last one, of course, not knowing whether his contract is up or not.

But how refreshing it is to hear Bassey, who’ll know Wordsworth from his time at Wimbledon, being honest about the incident. Maybe it was even less forgivable on this occasion, but it was disappointing earlier in this season when Beadle chose to criticise the blameless ref and excuse Wordsworth after his previous red card. By contrast, without slagging off Wordsworth excessively Bassey was very matter of fact about how unnecessary it was, describing it as a ‘ludicrous’ tackle.

I actually feel if we got him match fit and focused, he could be an important part of our progression. He's actually a very good footballer.

Excellent interview as usual from SB, it's refreshing to have a manager who tells it exactly as it is but also gives praise wherever possible.
He certainly doesn't mince his words re Wordsworth, guess he'll now be joining the list of players on furlough.
He's right though, the foul was completely unnecessary, nowhere near goal, no danger. OK, it didn't matter today - but against stronger opponents, it might well have cost us the 3 points.

Absolutely right - that’s the sad thing about it. He is a quality player who could have been a great asset.

I think we've seen the last of Woody in a Bees shirt, fitness and indiscipline has seen to that. Granted he wasn't match fit when he arrived at the club but missing games through being sent off doesn't help your levels, niggly injuries too.

Let's not forget that his original sending off was upgraded to a 5 match ban for comments made to the referee, 4 more this time so 9 missed due to indiscipline, can't carry that next season which is the shame because he has the nous and a wand of a left foot. SB correct though to say the other 10 got him out of jail, that was one hell of a shift put in less than 48 hours after the previous game.

Adeloye is playing himself nicely into contention for next season, he offers something different with his hold up play and his finishing has been on the money and has the opportunity over the next six games to give SB food for thought.

There might be one or two who could force their way into next season's plans but ultimately we all know there aren't going to be too many of this lot in a Bees shirt next season.

I pretty much wrote off Adeloye when he was signed as he had a seriously underwhelming CV and looked like a very desperate signing by Flowers, but he's really looking like a useful part of the squad now.

Tomi now has more goals than red cards in his career. So heading in the right direction.

Though exactly the same, would like to keep him for next season

Wordsworth has of course played under Bassey before and is a fan - so not necessarily a last game. This is from a couple of weeks ago...
