Out of curiosity, how many times did the old temporary seating at Underhill change size? At one point when we won the league it was as low as 5 or so rows. Pre-2002 it looked almost double the size when you watch the infamous Torquay decider on Youtube.

Rumours of a rugby club becoming a tenant? That would make sense and justify an increase in capacity when we barely get 1,000 home fans a game once the non-attending ST holders are taken out of the official numbers.

Really poor to do this so late in the day. Not ideal for Barnet (less socialising time beforehand etc) but even worse for the traveling fans who have already booked trains etc.

I guess they had the stewards in place to stop overcrowding in the seating section, where someone might mistakenly take someone's place.

Prices were the same so it would be at no financial loss to allow fans to move around but the occupancy is the only thing I can think of.
