Re: Jermaine Francis
Judging by the video, he doesn't get knocked off the ball as easily as some might make out. Looks like a very direct player. Look forward to seeing him in action.

Re: Attention Programme Collectors
Memories stirred just looking at the front covers. Fascinating to see how matchday programmes evolved over the years to being more of a matchday "magazine" before the internet really took hold. They became a reallly good read and certainly filled a half time break. I would say that until t...

Re: LUKE GARRARD to leave wood
Wood have appointed Ross Jenkins, from Oxford City. Pretty decent appointment for them. Got Oxford City promoted and did as well as could be expected with Oxford. Thought they played decent football too, which will take some time for Wood players and fans to get used to! They'll be busy this summer...

Re: Danny C of to Walsall
If we played a 4-4-2 we could inter-change the wide players. Kanu would be really dangerous cutting in on his left foot from the right. But playing wing-backs makes swapping players a bit more difficult. There's more defensive risk of being caught out unless both WB's are comfortable doing it.

Re: DB to Swindon?
Sounds like Swindon have done the right thing. Approached TK first, asked what compensation would be and agreed arelease figure. TK then tells DB he is free to talk to them. Doesn't mean anything is agreed. Not just personal terms financially, DB will want to be sure the project is right for him too...

Re: Big John
If he's better than what we have (i.e. Kabamba) then fair enough. But the big man is 34 now. I suspect we'll be looking at other options. We'd be using a huge chunk of our budget on a player like John. TK will only sanction that if he's a starter every week. My biggest worry though, is as he's not s...

Re: Barnet retained list
I think when all is said and done, over the course of 46 games, the table doesn't lie... we were a good side, just slightly out of touch with the champions Chesterfield. No need to drastically reinvent the wheel, just upgrade in a few areas. The odd player in our midst might just make that step up w...

Re: Barnet retained list
Think back to Fairclough's side. Very attacking, dynamic going forwards with Graham, Bailey, Sinclair running from midfield supporting Graz and the battering ram Liam Hatch. My point is... take Dwane Lee out of the side and we didn't function as well. Hartigan is a great player for this level to lin...

Re: Big games tonight
Sounded like a cracking game down at Worthing. Shame one team had to lose it. Braintree it is then. NL line-up for next season is confirmed, barring any last minute interventions at the AGM of course.

Re: Big games tonight
Solihull have a repeat trip to Wembley in 6 days time. This time, Gateshead will have a point to prove after their playoff issue, and being on the losing end last season.

Re: Big games tonight
My only real memory of Boston United was Danny Brown's scissor kick finish in a 1-1 draw, live on sky as the home side were on their journey to the title. Steve Evans was their manager at the time. Good luck to them next season, apart from the two matches we play against them, of course! NLS final i...

Hopefully Ronnie will actually go somewhere for a fee in the next month or two. Question is, will Posh getting promoted help or hinder the situation? They are in playoff action as we speak.

Re: Positives from the season?
We handed out a few thrashings this season. When our team clicks going forward, there's no stopping us. These past 2 seasons have made me look forward to matchdays once again. I'm now waking up expecting a good result, as opposed to dreading what might happen, and are we going to feel embarrassed wa...

Re: Big games tonight
Got a feeling Solihull will edge it, but I'd like to see Gateshead's fans celebrate winning the trophy a week later.
