Re: Bromley (Away) The Hot Club Time Machine Match Thread
Seemed inevitable after all of our pressure in the first half.

Re: Investment
This works out as around £10.26 per hour which is less than the London Living Wage of £11.95 per hour.
Not sure how they expect to recruit good people for the job offering low pay for a 45 hour week, and also not offering equipment (laptop).

Re: Connor Smith
Whilst there are positive examples of a manager bringing in lots of ex-players etc - like the two you mentioned above - there are plenty more negative ones, particularly when it comes to Barnet managers in recent years! Still and Kewell and Beadle to name a few. I think this is why some people here ...

Re: 2022/23 Season Tickets
Yes, the £90 season ticket is a great deal for younger fans. However, the Match-day price is just far too much. I used to be able to get friends come along to games when their own Prem teams weren't playing/on TV, but telling them the ticket price is £22 is never going to work (and hasn't). Why is i...

Kids tickets
Hi all, just a quick question - does a child who is 2 years old need a ticket, given that they will be sitting on parents lap?
Cheers

Re: Rob Hall - New signing
Potentially a good signing, but as with many of our signings over the years, we're taking a bit of a gamble on them staying fit. If he's had a couple of nasty knee injuries then there is the potential for another Steve Kabba... But also seems like we are stuck in this perpetual cycle of new manager ...

Re: Chesterfield (Away) The Flanagan and Balance Match Threa
Last season was the worst I've seen in my twenty+ years supporting the club (I'm sure older fans may have seen worse!) but based on what I've seen this season so far (granted it's early days) I don't see much of a change. Many different players, but ability-wise, they seem comparable with last year ...

Re: An interesting stat
I'd be pretty surprised if Currie could get anything out of this squad. The standard of players he had during his reign, while not amazing, were a million times better than the current squad.

Re: Striker signing anxiety
We had a pretty hefty playing budget a couple of years ago but it didn't help much as it wasn't spent well! You could argue that The Hive has done it's job in terms of generating money for the first team, it's just that we didn't use it wisely. Not that I am sticking up for the move to the Hive mind...

Re: Yeovil Town (Hive) The Power of Glove Match Thread
I would have Vasilou on the bench to bring on and inject a bit of engery in the second half if we need it. He's seemed lively in Pre-season. Granted, he's very young and could get a painful welcome to National League football, but he could certainly liven things up off the bench so I'd have him as a...

Re: Rhys Murphy signs
Who said we were in for him though? Surely it was only on this message board that his name was mentioned, so not like we 'missed out' on him when no-one knows if we were even 'in' for him. We do need 4 or 5 good signings but as we should all know by now (from many seasons of experience!), we do our ...

£15 for the terrace is reasonable but useless if it's closed!
