Re: AFC Fylde (Hive) The Hive for a Fiver? Frack Yes! Match Thread

BTW the PSG fans were amazing. They never stopped enthusiastically singing, clapping and jumping all game. They were amazing to watch but I’m not sure how that type of support works for the team, it is just constant noise that seems completely unrelated to anything that is going on in the game. Loa...

Re: Proposed competition with Premier League U23

Confirmed National League Cup attendances: Boston United 467 Oldham Athletic 455 FC Halifax Town 292 Woking 227 Ebbsfleet United 213 Dagenham v Spurs 184 I stand corrected that is awful. Have to wonder what sort of promotional effort the PL clubs have put into encouraging their supporters to follow...

Re: Next Manager? Life after DB.

Linking 2 threads, in a few years time we will be discussing the merits of Southgate taking over the reigns at League 1 Barnet at Underhill after Brennan was poached to manage the perennial Premiership also rans in N17.

Good on the club, and well done to you for pursuing the idea.

Re: Bring Barnet Back - campaign thread

Am trying to ascertain the scale of the stands compared to the Legends stand at The Hive If I am honest, I am rather underwhelmed by the plans - especially the glass utility block. Let's see how they evolve and proposed capacity etc. I also expect if we do move back home, our ties with The Hive wil...

He played an instrumental role in their equaliser. The tractor boys clearly hold him in the high regard we held him in based on the reception he got when he came on.

Re: Hive Stand

Back in 1998 I went to Wembley to see Southport v Cheltenham in F A Trophy Final. Southport had never before been to Wembley and it was hard to imagine they'd ever be there again ( which they haven't). People had made a 450 mile / 8 hour drive round trip to attend. Yet there many were going off dur...

Re: AFC Fylde (Hive) The Hive for a Fiver? Frack Yes! Match Thread

No reason why the pitch shouldn’t hold up. No ones played on it for a fortnight. That is what AFC Wimbledon thought untill their pitch sunk into a big hole !! Yes but The Hive wasn't built on a known flood plain. Funnily enough, it actually is. 🙏🙏 Here is the flood plain of Edgware Brook that inclu...

Re: Proposed competition with Premier League U23

Considering we only get about 900 actual home fans for Tuesday night games, I suspect we'd be playing in front of one man and a dog in this tournament. More than the early rounds of the FA trophy, week day FA cup qualifiers, and the Middlesex Senior Cup then. Even the dog can't be bothered with them.

Re: Proposed competition with Premier League U23

It will be interesting to see what sort of attendance they get at Dagenham for the visit of the new potatoes, and at what ticket prices. We may well be missing out on games which would have seen a fairly full Hive, with adverse impact to the competitiveness of the playing budget. Also it denies our ...

Re: Meet the Gaffer

Given that after 9 games we are the leading scorers in the division, averaging over 2 goals a game, we seem to doing fine on the attacking front without adding another front man to the squad. If we can tighten up in defence we will mount a very strong challenge for automatic promotion. I hope Tavare...
