Re: My memories of Underhill

just a tease - as I thought with you toying with the fantasy of watching honest football, at a down to earth honest club whilst you harbour your grudge for a manager who is struggling even though he took Arsenal to another level with the 'invincibles'. Oh well he is leaving at the end of next season...

Re: My memories of Underhill

Does your current disaffection with the Gunners have anything to do with the way the club is being run at the moment? My sense is that you will probably renew your season ticket once a Champs league place has been achieved. The reason I say this is that I am also season ticket holder at a Premiershi...

Re: TK on talksport

I heard it....he fended jokey questions as to whether he had made any withdrawal from his bank account in Cyprus. He said that they are hoping to get the construction of the stadium completed by June but there is a chance that Wycombe will not be the last home league game. He was asked if Edgar is s...

Re: Who is this?

I'm loving the slinky shorts with the side slit. Bit porno and reminds me of the time that my mates and I put on an all night rave on the downs in Berkshire. Cometh the morning we noticed lots of single older men (who I hasten to add had not attended the party) conspicuously appearing from bushes an...

Re: 'But who is your Prem team?'

Some of us older ones support a league club as well as Barnet because we never really visualised automatic promotion from non league, or Barnet achieving enough success to be voted into the league under the old "re-election" scheme. I would confidently say that I have watched more of Barne...

Re: Ross Jenkins set to sign

Used to be fantastic alongside Luther Blissett and John Barnes for Watford but getting on a bit now. Would be a threat in the box with his height even at the age of 62, but a bit of a 'left field' signing in my opinion.

Re: Trust Board Meeting with Tony Kleanthous

Surely any serious plan to build a stadium at South Underhill would include resources which the local community could utilise; cafe, community centre, gym, restaurant, Tesco's express etc Serious? I would have thought the more commercial it appears on greenbelt land the less chance of approval. In ...
