James Dunne came on as sub for Chatham in their 3-1 home loss to Horsham. Chatham scorer was ex Gills and AFC Womble Danny Kedwell aged 40 and of Akinfenwa size, but he lasted 90 mins.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Does Elliot Charles count? Grenada international. Also Dean Mason (Montserrat) but he was at Southampton briefly before Barnet.
Let's not forget Malcolm McDonald was technically a Bees youth as well

Ricky Holmes on scoresheet for Farnborough and made National League South team of the week
Nicky Deverdics scored for Blyth Spartans

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
On the subject of the National League South, there must have been something of a collapse for Mel Gwinnett and his band of ex-Bees at Hampton. They were 2nd when I last looked, mid season, and yet I see they missed out even on a play-off place with a 5-1 final day defeat at Maidstone (Greenidge among the scorers).

I actually don't think any of our players have had an exceptional individual season..hoofer2 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2024, 11:49Not one Barnet player nominated for Narional League player of the season out of the 8.simmosenior wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 17:21Nick Jupp, who played 15 games for us in 2013-14, is also on the GK shortlist.Jimbokav1971 wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 16:46 James Callan has been nominated for 3 different awards at Step 4.

They have played well as a team, without having the like of EMC or Jack Taylor to bail us out of trouble with individual pieces of quality.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
So you are saying that Barnet have not been one of the best 10 teams in the league this year?
Maybe you'd enjoy watching Enfield more - and I don't mean Enfield Town...

Kabamba - 32 goals all competitions
Collinge- 8 goals from centre half
Stead- 15 goals in his debut season at this level
There’s 3 right off the bat.

Not a player but just saw Wycombe goal tonight at Cambridge on sky sports news and the Wycombe shirt tonight reminds me of our away green shirt from 94-95 season.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
they had that same away kit that season too Chris, probably a retro tribute of some sort!letchbee94 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2024, 20:34 Not a player but just saw Wycombe goal tonight at Cambridge on sky sports news and the Wycombe shirt tonight reminds me of our away green shirt from 94-95 season.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Sir is at Saracens training ground today. Wonder if someone has told him the no1 shirt is the loose head prop? I doubt he'd take that shirt....
