People suggesting the seats may have come from the London 2012 basketball arena...

That wouldn't surprise me. Slick Seating built most of the temporary venues for the Olympics (see link below), whilst the seats and other equipment from those various venues is up for sale. Would certainly be an easy way to get some newish seats on the cheap.

According to Slick Seating they've also worked with Barnet in the past. Maybe they built the South Stand at Underhill.

One thing struck me when I was there the other day.
The stand being built against the main building will be in front of the windows to the bar.
The view from there is really good across the pitch so it would be a shame to lose it.
Will there be no seats in front of it, which would look a bit odd, or will there be some kind of temporary seating that can then be removed?
Here is another shot of that stand. I would think that even after the seats are installed you will still get a good view of the pitch from the ground floor bar.

Regarding the bar, it doesn't really matter if seats obscure the windows or not, it is illegal, and has been since the 1980s, to serve or consumer alcohol within sight of the playing surface hence during a match they will have to close curtains or something anyway,

As a casual Barnet attender / watcher I am more than impressed with how the new stadium is shaping up, I am looking forward to a visit and hopefully a rapid rise in fortunes.

Are there any plans to fill in the corner bits?

Very true Edd. Underhill was actually one of the very few (possibly the only) stadiums where you could get away with this. Seeing as you can not see in through the windows of the hospitality lounge above the Durham Suite, the police have always turned a blind eye to alcohol being served within.

It's steep, will have unrestricted views and I guess the stand could be taken down and incorporated into a new stadium if the club was to eventually move back to Barnet. Yep, that stand is looking rather good, and will be even more impressive once phase 2 is completed:

This new stand will rake in the most revenue from our supporters
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

The ground is really shaping up and I am really looking forward to the first match. I was very impressed when the
new South Stand was built at Underhill. This is more of the same.

The stand on the opposite side is going to look very weird with so few rows, though you can't have everything I suppose.

Will it also have decent food options aswell?? As from what I saw on my visit to the hive there is nothing around the area food wise.
