Can't see him getting on with Paul Scally any better than he did with Milan Mandaric - so he might well be available next April for the annual bail-out.

Seeing as Gillingham sacked Hess weeks ago and MA has been available throughout, it suggests he was hardly their first choice.

Gills fans generally are not very happy about this and as it's not been confirmed on their website they are still hoping it's anyone but him!

one difference from his time at leicester is that Scally lives in Dubai and wont be there day to day to see Martin, maybe he'll just let him get on with the job

You cant knock his ability over short periods/timeframes... he just needs to stick around somewhere to prove himself!

Yes Gills communication, if he has signed, is just as bad as ours as it's not on their website. I thought Scally said he was going to announce someone early June!
