Play Offs Display
Re: Play Offs Display
Last year we knew we finished 5th with a game to play, and sold tickets for the eliminator without knowing the exact opponent. We knew the date and kick off time.
I believe Notts did the same in advance, knowing they would be in a home semi final. They probably came close to selling out before the winner of our tie was known.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Play Offs Display
They certainly allowed us to commence sales for our eliminator last year before the final day of fixtures, despite us not knowing who we would be playing. I was impressed with that and with how swiftly the club acted in getting tickets on sale.lemming3k wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 11:57Possibly a miscommunication?
I'd hazard a guess that since it's mathematically possible to finish 3rd (despite there being no real prospect of it happening), the date of the game can't yet officially be confirmed so tickets can't go on sale until it's finalised. It's probably not the specific team they're playing that matters just which playoff bracket they'll be in.
Then again it is the National League so who knows.
I think the league wouid be right to say that while there is a mathematical chance that positions could change, clubs can’t act like the places are final and can’t sell tickets to a match which may take place on a different day, however unlikely.

The display has been ordered! Thank you to everyone who has supported this. We have set the final goal at £450 which will allow us to also get 2 big waving flags including a Bring Back Barnet one. Class response from the fans https://gofund.me/940d3d71

And Edgar David’s £5, although I’m highly doubtful it’s actually him!

I'd like to try the North stand but I'm far too superstitious to change my seat now!
Well done to the Amber Battalion for showing initiative.
What percent of capacity do we have to give the away team?

Re: Play Offs Display
Would imagine after Amberbattalion asked to get in touch, are looking for people to give up there usual seats in the legend stand and join them behind the goal,

It's a great initiative by the AB and should be applauded. I hope it works out.

The display of 800 flags are on their way and 2 large 6ftx6ft waving flags are arriving soon including a BBB one. 5 new flagpoles have already arrived. Thank you to everyone who has supported this. Ticket sales are looking strong behind the goal so let’s push to get it sold out

Re: Play Offs Display
DISPLAY UPDATE - The display will be in Block C and D in Stand 66 from row D upwards. We ask everyone who has a ticket in Stand 66 to be in the stand 10 minutes before kick off and FILL UP THESE AREAS first. The flags will then be held up when the players walk out.
Re: Play Offs Display
Nice effort guys. Please don't be put off for the future. The Bring Barnet back flag looked class.
