He's gone!
Nugnet departs..
Re: He's gone!
Great news he's gone, although there are now quite a lot of pieces to pick up. I hope that Nugent fairs better in his next role.
Re: He's gone!
Maybe Nugent realised he was the 'fundamental flaw'
I'm glad he's gone. What an absolute disaster of an appointment.

The search is on for the New Permanent Head Coach would suggest that it isn't Jackett unless of course he has got lost somewhere.
Personally I think TK should stop looking and give Eames the job.

Now Rossi is back I bet he will regret not getting another striker back in January.

Nooooooooo. Rossi hasn't done anything in the last 4 months to suggest that he is the right man for the job.Hiveoccupier wrote:The search is on for the New Permanent Head Coach would suggest that it isn't Jackett unless of course he has got lost somewhere.

Apart from getting the team to play football that saw us challenging for a play off slot, you mean ?BeeBoi1980 wrote:Nooooooooo. If we lose the rest of our games this season with him in charge he will still have more points per game than Allen or Nugent achieved as our managers this season.
Re: He's gone!
And bringing Jack Taylor into the team. Nugent probably would have played him in goal. And made him captain.Hiveoccupier wrote:Apart from getting the team to play football that saw us challenging for a play off slot, you mean ?BeeBoi1980 wrote:Nooooooooo. Statement talking about 'Head coach' etc.
What is this new term for 'manager' and why is TK so keen to employ it?

Re: He's gone!
Aside from the great win against Plymouth, we didn't beat anyone currently above us in 12 games under Rossi. He then made a string of poor signings during our highest spending transfer window, which coupled with the players he let go left us with a terribly unbalanced squad. He then acted as number 2 in probably our most underachieving spell ever. He has literally done nothing to merit being number 1 or number 2 next season. I'm not anti Eames, in time he could have a role, but right now we must be aiming for a more accomplished appointment.Hiveoccupier wrote:The search is on for the New Permanent Head Coach would suggest that it isn't Jackett unless of course he has got lost somewhere.

Re: He's gone!
Pleased he's gone but TK step back and look at the shambles since January. Well in fact since MA left, interim team, taking our time to find the right man for the job, well that worked well!!!!
