Yes but Arsenal have a part synthetic pitch.
Re: Hive
Decided to adjust that recent image from the club by adding a bigger terrace stand. In the second image TK gave me some extra cash to add a big screen in the corner.

1983 that is a work of art! Could imagine us fighting for promotion from League 1/lower Championship with a stadium like that including south stand from underhill.
When we get back into the FL then developments like that will really push the club forward (South Underhill worst case and Safe Standing permitting).

Looks like "a white van mans" convention was being held the day that photo was taken.1983 wrote:Nice aerial pic posted on the official Twitter page (https://twitter.com/BarnetFC/media/grid):

The Emirates has a problem with getting sunlight onto the turf, bearing in mind the covered stadium roof all round, think that's why they've gone part synthetic.lyonsdownbee wrote:Yes but Arsenal have a part synthetic pitch.
Yes, it's official, same grass seed (variety?) as the Emirates.BeeBee wrote:Bloody awesome! Did The Hive say this btw?

Have to say that the playing surface today looked perfect, just right for playing football on. Having said that, the ball did seem to hold up a bit a times. Not sure whether that was because of players not hitting the ball hard enough, or even the wind. Either way, its good that we've got 3 friendlies at home for our boys to get used to it.
For those not in the know, the view from the West stand is amazing. The bar underneath, although not yet complete, was operational and has the potential to be a real money-spinner. Toilets are plumbed in but just require a lick of paint throughout. I really enjoyed my afternoon. Good to see so many regular faces, and also lots of Ipswich fans making use of our hospitality. It all contributes to putting a first team together which can take us higher and back into league football.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
