Peter Shreeves had a lot of experience.
Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
One difference if i were a player i wouldn't lose any sleep about upsetting Peter Shreeve , Sanchez used to square up to Jones, Fashanu,
etc in Wimbledon days and has that "don't mess with me look"!

Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
Why the hell not. Last throw of the dice (again).
Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
He wasn't very good at Fulham.......
Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
Can't do any harm at this stage. I'm sure it can only have a positive effect. He certainly knew how to motivative and get the best out of lower league players when with NI. Hope he likes a challenge!
Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
I got this come up on my Twitter page, i can't see it as a bad thing if it helps us stay up.

Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
Time will tell, hope it works out ofcourse but I cannot see what difference he can make with the same players?
Also why now?
Who decision was it? and when did they decide?

Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
If MA was the last throw of the dice, then what does that make this?
Not a bad appointment if he can help get the players focused. He has experience in this sort of situation.

MA had mostly the same players and he made a big enough difference. I suspect he is here to guide Graz tactically.letchbee94 wrote:Time will tell, hope it works out ofcourse but I cannot see what difference he can make with the same players?

Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
Let's be honest, MA only brought in Graz because he needed someone who could actually tell him something about the players. It also helped that Graz was so popular ( when MA wasn't). We may all love Graz and want him to succeed but the situation he finds himself in wouldn't be easy for an experienced manager, let alone a rookie.
We'd have probably lost at Bury if we'd still had MA, however the impression I got from Barnet Player and what I've read is that if our performance on Saturday was back to the PF level. By bringing in Sanchez at least the club are trying their best to rescue the situation.

Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
Could the contact with Sanchez have been set up by Roy Carroll?
At least they know each other from the national team.

The last time I checked Fulham are not in league 2, He had a decent record keeping Wycombe in what is now lg1 so he knows how to win a relegation battleMilkfloat wrote:He wasn't very good at Fulham.......

Re: Sanchez in to help Graz
A bit worried our managerial/coaching staff is now probably bigger than the playing squad, but bringing Sanchez in has got to improve our chances.
