Do they
Re: Do they
Only memory I have of a Barnet player on the messageboard was Liam Hatch getting narked when someone had spotted him selling a signed shirt and a bunch of skirts on ebay!
Re: Do they
I'm sure they do. And that's perfectly fine. It's certainly a better form of feedback then them getting an arbitrary '5' next to their name in the News of the World.

Re: Do they
Personally I would rather they spend any spare time learning how to hit a cows ar$e with a banjo!
Re: Do they
I can help there.
Firstly, you need two ingredients:
1) A Banjo
2) A Cow's arse (a whole cow will do, as long as it has an arse. Arse-less cows are of no use).
Then do the following:
1) Hold the banjo at the end of the long thin end.
2) Stand an arms length plus about 8 inches from the cow's arse - side on.
3) Swing the banjo steadily back behind your head.
4) Swing forward at maximum velocity such that the strumming end of the banjo hits the cow's arse.
5) Run away
How this will help Barnet, I do not know.

I know a story about that little incident, wanna hear it? Good.Moonchild_Bee wrote:Only memory I have of a Barnet player on the messageboard was Liam Hatch getting narked when someone had spotted him selling a signed shirt and a bunch of skirts on ebay!
Liam - who first of all let me say is a top lad and I miss him - was shall we say escorting out my extremely young Niece at the time and he had gone around to my sisters for Sunday lunch. He was most embarrassed when I went round to visit that afternoon because he had told her he was 21 when he was actually 24 and knew then that she would find out! We saw the funny side of that.
Allegedly however he wasn't just selling a shirt and skirts but loads of his old clothes - he wasn't exactly in the top ten of best dressers according to some of the players at the time! The lads anonymously bought some of the clothes from EBay and turned up for training wearing them!
p.s Generous lad is Liam as he bought and helped Mrs Reckless and I finish a bottle of Champagne in the Weavers the night we celebrated promotion!
Re: Do they
I really hope they don't read the messageboards..and if they do, have the thick skin to ignore the slating/ use it as motivation
Re: Do they
Wouldnt bother me if they did, there is nothing I post that I wouldnt say to a players face.
