Attention Programme Collectors

I've inherited two collections of Barnet programmes, totalling 698, mostly home with a few away games. (Not all of them are pictured above) Dating from the 1975-76 season, right up to 2014/15. I really want them to go to someone who will read them and treasure them like the two individuals who I inherited them from. Maybe a young Bees fan who wants to start their collection?

I'm down in Dorset but I can get them to Potters Bar for collection from there if you're not in too much of a hurry.

I've put them on eBay to garner as much publicity as possible, but I'm sure the forum will be a more targeted audience.

I've painstakingly combined and sorted them all into date and season order, with a few duplicates but not that many surprisingly.

There's also 34 fanzines, including the first 13 'Two Together' and the first 17 'BuzzTalk'.

There are quite a few from 1978 with Jimmy Greaves playing from midfield, and they include the 1990/91 season when we won the league and got into the league for the first time.

Also included is the FA Trophy Final programme from Wembley, against Stafford Rangers from 15/4/72. And Finchley v Barnet from 9/3/63.

Full list of the programmes:

Impressive collection of Bees programmes Devon_Bee. I hope they are taken off your hands by a genuine Barnet fan.

Equally impressive, for a different reason is that your thread is the 14,000th thread on this Forum.
Congratulations for that and to all Bees fans who have posted in the past and to all others who read this fabulous Forum.

The programmes have been re-listed as the winner just wanted the fanzines. So I've removed the fanzines and the 698 programmes are now for sale again.

Talking of programme collecting, I'm specifically after the following:

Barnet v Wealdstone (Athenian League 1945-46)
Barnet v Bishop Auckland (FA Amateur Cup Final 1945-46)
Barnet v Newport County (FA Cup 1970-71)
Bognor Regis Town v Barnet (Southern League Div 1 South 1976-77)
Stafford Rangers v Barnet (Gola League Cup Final 1st Leg 1985-86)

If anyone has any of the above and is keen to sell them then please do send me a DM.

Memories stirred just looking at the front covers.
Fascinating to see how matchday programmes evolved over the years to being more of a matchday "magazine" before the internet really took hold. They became a reallly good read and certainly filled a half time break. I would say that until the early 00's they were one of the key methods of fans finding out what's going on at the club, apart from reading the back page of the Barnet Times or Advertiser.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
