Cropper v Hall-Johnson

Post: # 371919Post JWTBee »

Am I the only one who thinks that Cropper should start ahead of Hall-Johnson? H-J has been very ineffective recently & Cropper offers much more than just a long throw! He is actually a very good footballer too!
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

I agree, he’s looked off the pace last few games, would start cropper too, he got a good cross in yesterday for a goal just after coming on

Cropper for me. Hall Johnson low on confidence and regularly picking up bookings due to his frustrating late tackles after he loses the ball. Wish him well but sadly he is the weakest link at the moment. Cropper offers so much more both with his long throws, attacking skills and defensive qualities.

At the moment with Thompson out there is room for both. I doubt DB will play as attacking a team as he did yesterday in games against Solihull and Bromley and Cropper in a back 3 with Collinge and Okimo would be an obvious adjustment.

Based on the last 20 mins at Woking I would start Ben Wynter at rwb if fit!

Cropper is a very basic player. Not good enough to start

When we recruit next for next season I would suggest wing backs in an area we should be looking to upgrade. None of HJ, Cropper, Winter or Coker strikes me as a top of national league/league 2 level - equally none of them are without merit.

I'm a massive fan of Cropper as well, would think about playing him and Kanu against Solihull because it would give us the tactical unpredictability that has helped us in recent weeks

Surely we'll see more of him towards the tail end of the season with his previous play-off experience and success under his belt too. He won't be phased by the big occasions
