It is a very good film actually.
Well worth a watch.
Well worth a watch.
Re: New Players
Can we assume that PB/TK do not intend to bring in any more players or are we waiting until we can't field a team and then panic? There must still be many decent players around who are unemployed. As we can see the usual pressure on the squad from injuries (so early in the season we are already struggling with just a few unable to play) to has now been exacerbated by covid.
On another issue if a player is self isolating for 2 weeks their fitness levels will drop dramatically, more so if the player actually has covid. Another reason to boost the squad now.

Agreed, even if a couple of players join on contracts that can be reviewed in January a job in this climate must be better than no job!ETBee wrote:Can we assume that PB/TK do not intend to bring in any more players or are we waiting until we can't field a team and then panic? Connors would have only been 18 then. I like the Leiston badge shown on the report - a big question mark!MCB wrote:He's a history of scoring winning goals against Leiston...OB1 wrote:New fullback signed. Jack Connors ex Ebbsfleet.

Fair play - never heard of him, but wasn't sure if Isaiah Rankin had ever turned out for us considering he's done a tour of Southern lower league clubs.jerroll wrote:Almost - Grays (H) played at Grays!!#Beebot wrote:Grays away, GLS Cupjerroll wrote:

Re: New Players
Why is it a vast majority of signings we have made in there picture from club announcing there signing there faces look like they have been given three years breaking rocks or been forced to sign under pressure and threat of a cattle prod unless they sign. This now includes new signing Jack Connors. If he is happy to have finally been signed by a club who are going to be paying him a wage for him and his family there must be someone at the club who should tell them that it they are happy to let there faces know for the picture to go with release signing announcement. Good god. They not been sent to stalag 13.
