Good idea
As per everything right this club does, it doesn't appear to have made the message board...
Open Day this Saturday, with tournament where you can win travel to and from an agreed away match, travel on the team coach with the players and staff and boardroom hospitality at the game.

I know you lot will go "NoThInG cOmPaReD tO pOsTpOnInG fIxTuReS", but this is a good step and I'd love to know if any other professional club has offered a genuine opportunity to travel on the team bus.

Re: Good idea
Great idea but I fear a bit late in the day, many will now have made alternative arrangements, I know I have. I hope there are good numbers, sounds great especially for those with kids, but just seems last minute like so many good things the club do.

Re: Good idea
I'd have gone but also busy. Was never a home game. Still, agreed let's praise the club on a good idea, hope it's well attended.
Re: Good idea
Excellent idea, shame I have already committed to something else on Saturday but definitely a positive move by the club.
Re: Good idea

Re: Good idea
Agree good idea by club, Hopefully a lot of our younger fans will persuade their parents to take them along, (Would have loved the chance to do this when was younger)
Me and 3 others who had pre booked train tickets for this Saturday are going to make the trip anyway and spend day in Blackpool.
I went to the training morning Martin Allen did on the Monday before christmas back in 2014, was good to watch, hope Saturday is good experience for those who go.

John if you can and the chance arises get your boy to talk to EJ or Ric Santos they were absolutely fantastic with my godson who's 10 they speak very well and can share some wonderful insight into the world of professional football
Re: Good idea
Damn, my sons would love it but I have tickets for the family to the England v Bulgaria game and my son has a match in the morning with an 1100 kick off in St Neots. I wonder how I can sell it to my wife that we include a round trip via the Hive. Hmm

Pics looked good online but looked fairly quiet unfortunately. Anyone who attended want to let us know how it went? Anyone back in training?

Re: Good idea
I went yesterday and took my son. Arrived about 230, probably 30 supporters scattered in the stand watching a high intensity 4 v4 rotating game. Really good to watch got to learn a lot about the players as we a see saw them chatting, laughing etc banter you never see on a match day.
They played right next to us so DC and junior sitting on the advertising hoardings in front of us.
Played table football all players joined in and really got involved. Me and my boy beat Wes and EMC really nice guys and Jack Barham taking the mick out of them as we played. We then lost to Sweeney and dunne again good lads.
DC and junior lost in the final to 2 young lads.
We stayed and watched the first half of England game.
Nice afternoon, my son thinks Akinola is the best and was in awe of him. He was really great with him and such a nice guy really friendly and very humble.

Re: Good idea
Just a shame basically no one turned up...
Don't expect anything like that will happen again after such a horrendous turn out
