Good to have him back, it only strengthens the squad. However I was hoping that DC was coming out of retirement.

I suggest Wes may need to consider better management.

I would like to have seen a fresh face, Wes is very average I’m afraid and don’t really think he strengthens the squad much, on the plus side at least Currie knows what he can do and can’t do.

Was really disappointed when he left delighted he’s back. Improving player who scores goals surprised at some of the negativity.

I think this can put to rest some people's concern that players don't want to come here. It must have been difficult for him to come back. He could have gone to another club, but he seemingly swallowed his pride and chose us.

I'm happy about this. Great player and is now showing commitment we need. Players know him so no bedding in.

Luxury player for me, doesn’t do the hard yards. Don’t think anyone knows his actual position either.

Another midfielder to add to the bloated squad. Can’t believe how this money has not been put into a striker. It’s still (4 months on), the position we haven’t recruited for.

Strange.

Pretty sure this is a case of an agent who filled his head with nonsence about the clubs that wanted him. He has now had to face up to the fact that it was nonsence.

We clearly wanted to keep Wes, but weren't prepared to break the bank to keep him. Now he has decided that we are the best option available when he needs to pay some bills.

As for expanding a bloated squad I take the view that he strengthens the squad, but not necessarily the first team. Very useful to have him around should JT sucumb to the injury curse, particularly as JT doesn't have the best record injury wise.

As for why we haven't signed a striker yet - it's clearly the hardest position to fill and good strikers aren't often available and when they are there is a lot of competition.

Every other club?? Do you really know that to be a fact? I very much doubt it.

Grass was obviously not greener on the other side.

A - we don't need him as JT is a superior player in that position now.
B - surely use the bloody wages to sign a striker.

What logic is there with this signing? Currie didn't even play him!
Maybe Dunne's absence is worst than first feared?
Have heard he is out until March.
Just to say I have not heard this officially so it might not be true (I certainly hope this is fake news).

If true then for goodness sake. We haven't fielded a full strength XI in years.

It'll be fine. He'll come back for 10 minutes in January on a heavy pitch then be out for another 18 months. #GrimReaper

Was gutted when Wes left. Very good to get him back.

Just our effing luck if Dunne is out long term.
