Injury update

Post: # 281353Post Roy57 »

Does anyone have update on injuries. As we have two weeks off for international break. And we know this was to help with injured players. Remember one of DC interviews about six weeks ago thought I remember him saying Dan Sweeney was about 3 weeks away. Hope before next game someone from club announces our injury update. As if we do not have any back by then all this will of been in vain.

The open training session may hold the clue as to where certain players are in their recovery. Maybe this occasion was also created to show off the likes of Sweeney back in full training and give us fans a little morale boost?
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Surely we should be demanding a TK statement?

I think that the person in charge of statements is injured.

Not looking good concerning injuries. Listening to DC's interview on clubs twitter . The idea of cancelling games through international so we could get players back seems to have back fired big time. Instead of getting players back such as three or four defenders etc. We now have two new injuries to add to our huge list. This is the third year running were we have close to having half of the first team squad un-available. Love to know what or why players who we are told would be out for three weeks end up being out for double this time of even longer. I know you cannot be exact with time players will be out for. But our injury list is yet again putting us in a poor position. Oh well could be worse i suppose.

Havent seen the video. Was it confirmed that was the reason for postponing? I'd have thought losing Jack Taylor alone would have been more than enough justification considering his game changing goals.

Indeed. Talking of Taylor - and I hesitate to even write this - we obviously don’t know that Taylor, or any one of the rest of the squad, is not the other long-term injury we’ve now got...
