I was thinking that. Last year with BT Sport it was a love-in with Salford, but we've just put a little marker down.

I don't see that you can hold her responsible for getting our league position wrong, she was merely repeating what was relayed to her via her earpiece. In any case, we and Fylde both have 7 points, +2 goal difference.
What was wrong with her voice?

Nothing wrong. In fact, let's remember that not too many years ago, this league would not have had the benefit of so many live games. Shame thst Spurs were on TV at the same time.

Be honest, you knew no more about Notts Co than I did, you were just more optimistic than me. Doubtless because you're younger than I am so have suffered less football disappointments over the years than me. I am delighted that we won, if it suits you to think that "you were right" then go ahead, I'm just delighted that we won. Win: win situation all round.

Great result. The Notts goal took us by surprise but I thought we looked in control for most of the game. Everyone knew their role. It was a tidy performance.

Viva Akinola! What a cool finish. He’s doing a sterling job. More of the same on Tuesday please.

You're a c**t for posting a porn website. Joining yesterday? Pathetic. This kind of thing infects and warns all apps like phones, tablets etc that they blackmail you.

Twat.

Edit: Please don't click it. The guy was obviously on a wind-up. I don't want other fans getting into bother over some troll that's just out to make trouble. Children could click that. If moderators see it, please could they remove it.

Sorry for my bad language but some things you just don't do to fellow supporters. I bet he was a Stevenage fan crying over another defeat. Sad twerp.

Didn't get to see the game in the end. Delighted with the result, obviously, but just surprised to see all the criticism of Dunne after his impressive performance last Saturday. What has gone wrong there?

Great win by the way and seven points from nine is a better start than anyone could have envisaged.

A couple of tricky home games next but no reason why we can't win both.

I'd prefer to hear what Alex Scott has to say about a match than the woeful Paul Ince and the 2 a penny rabbit in the headlights pundits who can barely string 2 words together. She is confident, articulate and has insight and opinions on games. I agree some of the presenters can be annoying but so could their male counterparts. I always preferred BBC over ITV while Townsend was at large.

Watching women's World Cup showed that some of the female pundits are better than some of the make counterparts.

Let's hope this will help to improve quality overall. I.e. ditch those not up to scratch

Some of the female pundits are very good indeed and, at least, you don't hear them keep banging on about "When I ........." It was also quite amusing during the Women's World Cup to occasionally hear Sue Smith put the nauseating Jonathan Pearce back in his box.

I’d agree with Hoofer2; Alex Scott seems knowledgeable and articulate. Hope Solo was massively entertaining during the World Cup as well!

I’m intrigued to know what Darren intends to do, now that Johnson is fit again. David has been excellent, as he often is, so dropping him would seem a little harsh. I suppose it’s a good dilemma to have - two strong left-backs. Meanwhile, having started well, Cheye seemed at fault for their goal. To these eyes, he just seemed...well, non-commital. He let the lad cut inside, then allowed him too much space, a shame considering what followed.

But 3 points away at Notts County! Lovely stuff!
