Initially I thought he had signed a municipality contract for Southend Council!ninestein wrote:Jon83 wrote:Andre Blackman has signed for Southend on a "monthly multiplicity contract".

Surprised he's not magicked up a striker for us. Has he been asked? Seriously, it could be one of his DC is waiting on.Mr Smart wrote:Tony Finnegan. Jason Puncheon has agreed to join Cypriot outfit FC Pafos on a two-year deal. Not bad for a 33 year old I suppose.

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I saw Pafos play recently and the standard was God awful (League 2/Conference). They play on a ground surrounded by a running track in front of crowds akin to a decent sized Barnet attendance. That said, Pafos have Eastern European owners, so Jason should earn a few euros and be a star player without breaking sweat. Not a great career move, though.rudebwoyben wrote:Convenient for Ayia Napa..Beearsed wrote:Jason Puncheon has agreed to join Cypriot outfit FC Pafos on a two-year deal. I'm in Pafos in November, but looks like I miss a home game by a day. Ironically they're playing Nicosia, where I'll be the day before! Doesn't sound like I'm missing too much!Norfolkbee wrote:I saw Pafos play recently and the standard was God awful (League 2/Conference). Puncheon will have earned a few bob at Palace. This is probably more about enjoying the end of his career with a nice lifestyle.Norfolkbee wrote:I saw Pafos play recently and the standard was God awful (League 2/Conference). Punch could still do a job in the champ/league 1. It's a shame he's decided to play for a tin pot team in a tin pot league. Clearly he has got a few quid in the bank from his Prem days.

Bondz just signed for Ebbsfleet
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
A lot of talk when Kai McKenzie-Lyle signed for Liverpool and his status at the club. This is a statement from Klopp after first choice Alisson was injured and replaced by sub Adrian:
”Liverpool are likely to turn to Caoimhin Kelleher as Adrian’s understudy for the Super Cup fixture, with the youngster having recently returned to training following a broken wrist.
Klopp said: “Caoimhin is not [injured], he is back in training but not at 100 per cent. We have to see how he reacts now.
“One of the very young ones is not even allowed to play, he is only 16 [Jakub Ojrzynski], and the other one [Vitezslav Jaros] had an elbow injury early in the pre-season, so we’re a bit short in that position.”
Seems a long way down the pecking order.

I'm pretty sure KML has been injured for a while. He's first choice for Guyana but was left out of their Gold Cup squad.

I think they just signed him as a u23 back up GK cause he's so much taller than all the other kids
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Seems a little strange that a club as big as Liverpool would start the season with only 2 fit goalkeepers and one of them being a 32 year old who didn't make a single League appearance last season. Still, I suppose if Adrian now gets injured they can always call upon the Emergency Loans system!
