According to the Chesham United website, there's a pre-season friendly vs Barnet on Tuesday 23rd. Nothing on the Barnet website though.

Assuming that it's confirmed by Barnet eventually (it's been on our website for a couple of weeks), I hope to look forward to welcoming you and other old Underhill chums to The Meadow that evening, John.

Emailed the club. They confirmed its to be considered an U18/Barnet XI friendly, not that of a first team.

They also said a full list of all U18, XI and First Team Friendlies will be published once all the first team friendlies are confirmed.

thanks, its the problem with clubs not advertising it as a Barnet XI, unless there is a 1st team game that night i will head to Chesham.

Hmmm ... I remember attending a Chesham United vs Barnet XI pre-season friendly in July 2011, John. Barnet fielded a team of rubbish triallists, and Chesham won 4-0 without breaking sweat. If Barnet are going to do the same thing this summer, I might opt for a more competitive-looking Beaconsfield Town vs Oxford City, being played the same evening, instead.

John: There's always the Chesham vs Barnet league fixture in National League South in the 2020/21 season to look forward to, in any case ...

One for those who called for a Premier League team fixture - a mixture of first team and U23's apparently.

That's a decent friendly to have. Should be a reasonable gate too.
Ex-England manager in the away dugout, I wonder if Wilf Zaha will still be a Palace player by then?
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Last time we played was literally a game of 2 halves for the Bees. The lumbering clodhoppers of the First XI and then the academy side
who played brilliant passing football and had Palace on the back foot at times.

Well done Palace too for supporting Clubs lower down the pyramid...Many are now too arrogant and self centred to do this
