I'm not sure who is to blame here, as of course Concord knew the rules, but were going to have their ground up to scratch.jerroll wrote:Concord have been excluded from entering the playoffs as ground fails to meet step 1 criteria!!

Impression i've got is that they spent a bit of money on coaching staff & 1st team - why on earth didn't they add a cheap 500 seats?

They should have gone for sandwiches as the easy option.Norfolkbee wrote:Food wasn't up to Michelin star standard.MCB wrote:I'm not sure who is to blame here, as of course Concord knew the rules, but were going to have their ground up to scratch.jerroll wrote:Concord have been excluded from entering the playoffs as ground fails to meet step 1 criteria!!

Anyway, their tweet complaining about their disqualification by the National League shows how amateurish they are as a club -badly written, badly formatted and punctuated and in a sulky teenager tone.

Wealdstone have secured the final play-off spot.
I can't be the only one who secretly wants them to go up? Would make for a very tasty affair next season...

Re: Ups & Downs
I'm shocked that they've managed it. They looked dead and buried when I saw them lose 0-3 at home to Dulwich last week, and their fans seemed to think their playoff hopes were over, but they've since won their last two and Billericay (haha!), St Albans and Dartford have all collapsed.tomrose72 wrote:Wealdstone have secured the final play-off spot.

I can't see them getting through the playoffs though. They have no physicality up front, their strikers make Shaq look like Akinfenwa.

Championship to NL in five years. Is that a new record?watfordbee wrote:Yeovil relegated. Guess we would like Macc to join them.
Re: Ups & Downs
Stockport win the NL North. They will be joined by one of Chorley, Brackley, Spennymoor, Altrincham, Blyth or Bradford Park Avenue.
Re: Ups & Downs
Hopefully someone new, ie not Chorley or Altrincham.#Beebot wrote:Stockport win the NL North. They will be joined by one of Chorley, Brackley, Spennymoor, Altrincham, Blyth or Bradford Park Avenue.

We played Chorley between 1988-90, they’re hardly a team that we’ve played all the time.pgbee wrote:Hopefully someone new, ie not Chorley or Altrincham.#Beebot wrote:Stockport win the NL North. They will be joined by one of Chorley, Brackley, Spennymoor, Altrincham, Blyth or Bradford Park Avenue.
Re: Ups & Downs
Brackley are a horrible tinpot bankrolled club. I wouldn't mind any of the others though as away trips go, Bradford PA's athletics stadium won't be great. Don't want Chelmsford coming up either from the South for the same reason.
Re: Ups & Downs
Weald stone are pure evil.Once saw them lose4-3 to Henson at Northwood having led by three goalstheir fans reaction was excitable and not a little violent The Barnet til apocalypse lads will fleetomrose72 wrote:Wealdstone have secured the final play-off spot.
