Wes starts tonight according to Leyton Orient twitter.

And apparently Leyton Orient beat us 3-0 in a behind closed doors friendly yesterday. Their team on twitter, havn't seen ours.

Played 90 minutes in a 1-0 win - Alfie Pavey penalty.

JS did say last week that he was looking to get a friendly arranged so that certain players could build up fitness.
I wonder if Reynolds and Tarpey played any part?

Review from a Orient fan at the game from OFF:
I went along to the game this evening, England won 1-0 with a penalty from Alfie Pavey.

Impressed with two players who played in particular - James Hardy of Fylde and Wesley Fonguck from Barnet, both will no doubt play higher at some point.

Game was ok if a bit dull - typical friendly. Both sides got the ball down and tried to play, looks like Paul Fairclough trys to pick the best young technically gifted players in Non League. England very pleasing on the eye. Estonia played well first half, but offered nothing in the second.

Crowd was 635 - Lots of family and friends from the players in attendance.

Sadly, but not surprisingly, Wes has not been selected for the England C squad which is due to play Wales on 19th March.
Wes's early season form has definitely dipped a bit recently. He has shown us his capabilities and will hopefully have a much better run of form as we go into the last two months .

We're scheduled to play Harrogate that day so it's likely we couldn't have players called up or refused it. Wes has certainly stepped up this season though, if poorer of late.

Right now we need him available for us. If he has been overlooked it's a blessing in disguise given the importance of our upcoming league games.

Returns to the England C ranks for their match in Estonia next month. He'll have company in the form of Ephron Mason-Clark too.

Good luck to both of them & they return unscathed.

I saw a 3 page thread and was worried. Then I saw the date that the thread had started and was a bit less worried.
Well done to both players. I might have been tempted to go had the match been in UK. Talinn is quite nice but a bit inconvenient for a football match.
