AMBER SPARK was just outside the first three in a tight race.
No obvious Bees nags today but there is this one....

3.15 Kempton HONEY MAN (11/4)

This is a decent nag, five starts and 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 1st and 1st. The last run was a win over course and distance. There's a big field and HONEY MAN heads the handicap, but there are strong chances.

Best of luck folks.

A few days now since our last punt. HONEY MAN finished 6th last week, probably carrying a bit too much weight.
We have a new one today. Making its racecourse debut is....

5.50 Listowell AMBER AND BLACK (40/1)

14 runners in this 2 mile NHF race. Might be worth a small each way.

Best of luck folks.

A decent first effort from AMBER AND BLACK yesterday, 7th out of 14. Hopefully more to come from this bag.

Two decent chances today, both good each way possibilities.

3.35 Doncaster DEE EX BEE (14/1)
5.05 Chester SAVE THE BEES (12/1)

DEE EX BEE races in the valuable St Leger Stakes today. Remember, this nag came 2nd in the Derby.
SAVE THE BEES comes off of a decent 2nd last time out. Has won before at thus tight track.

Best of luck folks.

DEE EX BEE finished a decent 4th in the St Leger. SAVE THE BEES was a non-runner.

What a beautiful day. Anyone fancy a trip to the seaside?
5.10 Brighton BUZZ LIGHTYERE (5/1)
5.40 Brighton BROADHAVEN HONEY (7/2)

BUZZ LIGHTYERE must know every blade of grass at Brighton, four wins here, three over the distance. This time, however, our nag has its first race for its new trainer.
BROADHAVEN HONEY has top weight in this handicap today. It is carrying a.penalty after its win at Chepstow two races ago.

Best of luck folks.

Just the one today.
5.15 Galway DYNABEE (11/2)

Some question marks, new course, new distance, but most of all the going which is heavy.
I might just watch.

Best of luck folks.

DYNABEE was 6th. Pleased I didn't bet on it.

Again, just the one today.
6.15 Kelso BEENO (14/1)

This nag likes a bit of cut in the ground so good to firm won't suit it. A decent run of form, though, it has not been out of the top three this season, but, as a result, that nasty handicapper has noticed it.
Another one to watch but no pennies on this one today.

We have a runner today.

5.10 Warwick WESTERBEE (13/2)

This nag has had a 112 day break since its last race. Word of caution....after previous breaks WESTERBEE has not performed well on its first run back. It is a decent hurdler, though, but be cautious.

Best of luck folks.

As expected no joy from WESTERBEE yesterday.
Four today, three of them at Redcar.

2.20 Redcar TOBEEORNOTTOBEE (9/1)
5.30 Redcar SAVE THE BEES (20/1)
6.00 Redcar HADLEY (9/1)
6.45 Wolverhampton AMBER LILY (125/1)

Both TOBEEORNOTTOBEE and HADLEY feature in races of 20 runners. Odds of 9/1 on both these nags seem a bit short.
SAVE THE BEES, however, at 20/1 is a good each way prospect. A decent run last time out (2nd) so well worth a punt.
AMBER LILY has her first run out today. I think the odds reflect its chances.

Best of luck folks.

After last weeks awful performances from our nags let's hope for better this week.
Two runners today.

3.05 Catterick BEENO (12/1)
4.30 Newton Abbott AMBRE DES MARAIS (15/2)

BEENO usually races over hurdles. Today, for whatever reason, it is entered on the flat over 1m 6f. I'm guessing that this is to just sharpen it up. Hmmmm. Maybe not worth the risk.
AMBRE DES MARAIS races off the back of two 2nd places, but these were over the minimum 2miles. Today it tackles 2m 5f. This time last year our nag had three consecutive wins, but since then it has a new trainer. A small each way might give us a return.

Best of luck folks.

No joy yesterday. We are due a win (much like our footy team).
Just the one today.

3.45 Ayr BEE MACHINE (10/1)
Two mediocre runs since its win at the end of August. Our nag was penalised for that win with a hike in the handicap, but today is back to that winning mark. At 10/1 worth a small e/w wager.

Best of luck folks.

We are getting closer, but, sadly no returns from BEE MACHINE yesterday.

Two today.
2.30 Nottingham BUMBLEKITE (100/1)
8.30 Newcastle DISPLAYING AMBER (7/1)

BUMBLEKITE makes its racecourse debut today. Eleven runners and, judging by its odds, not a lot of confidence around for this one.
DISPLAYING AMBER, however, does have chances coming off of a Course and Distance win just twelve days ago. Only raised 4lb for that win so worth consideration.

Best of luck folks.

We need a win. On the pitch and on the racecourse.
If our players dig deep today, hopefully the three points. If our nag digs deep today....loadsamoney!!

5.40 Redcar SAVE THE BEES (16/1)

A couple of mediocre runs from our thread-leader recently but it does come up with the occasional win, so why not?
Worth a small each way wager.

Best of luck folks.
